  1. stock R33 auto with pod filter turbosmart dual stage boost controller at 9 pounds of boost hope this helps
  2. i am in tthe process of making a fully enclosed air box to fit my pod filter based on my stock R33 airbox using the original air snorkel as well as a 3 - 4 inch intake in the bottom of the box for extra flow. but getting it all to fit with the stock intercooler pipes is a bit off a hassle when i am done i will post some pics i am doing this to keep my intake temps down and still have some of the pod sound (i am a sheetmetal fabricator by the way) you could always just section off the pod and put a lid over it, but i guess that would still be classed as a mod in vic though........
  3. thanks for all your help guys i cleaned the throtle body today and low and be hold no more stalling much more consistant idle but still has the "when you back off the throtle its it feels like the car stalls for about 500 rpm then comes back up to normal revs" problem could this be the PCV valve?? i have read that they arent as reliable when they get older ??
  4. B.P. ultimate feul and did the plugz about 8 months ago "bout 25 - 30,000km" nkg Iridium tips if i remember correctly i could check'em when i do the throtle body "wich i am now doing on the morrow"
  5. I am pulling the throtle body off today to clean it, is there a way to test the air flow meter?
  6. thanks to both of you as i am relatively new to the world of skylines and tubros trying to determin the cause of problems is a legnthy mind boggleing process you have my thanks
  7. It's the stock Bov and the last time i checked the throtle body (bout six months ago) it looked clean....... but i will check it again what would i use to clean it ? and is there any way to test the AFM? cheers for the info..
  8. could it be from putting on a pod filter ?? it still drives really well it just doesn't like to stop/idle do you know off a way to test them?? thanks for the reply nobody else seems interested
  9. Hey guys as the description sez, my 93 s1 R33 auto line is stalling it is stock apart from a pod filter and turbosmart dual stage boost controller the car drives fine motor feels strong an clean through the rev range but when you back off for a split second it drops about 500 rpm then comes back up that happens under most condition's but sometimes when i pull up to a set of lights it has a really rough idle and when i go to accelerate it stalls i have no idea as to why this would happen and if anybody can help it would great thanks for your time guys
  10. Cheers for the fast reply, is there much difference between the emanage and the emanage ultimate? and what were the features, e.g. what is it able to control? thanks for your time.
  11. may sound like a stupid question, but im new to skylines so hopefully you will take pity on my stupidity, you bought the computer for an r34 right? is so will it hook up to an r33 ecu?
  12. i have a blizt boost gauge 'T' pieced into the stock pressure line and they both read just about the same.... maybe i'm just lucky ........... make a nice change
  13. if you could take photo for me that would be great, i am trying to decide on rims but i want to keep the car looking sleeper'ish and the standard R33 rims are anoying the hell out of me, i need more rubber under the backend. do the R34 rims allow for 225 tyres or bigger? i thank you for all your help.
