  1. yup was pretty sure that was the case cheers Brendan already got the diode, resistor and wire, plus the diagram of course cool. its definately going to work will book a day I suppose and get all the work done. 550cc deatchwerks injectors (hiflowed 480cc items) hks heavy duty actuator stock bov, oil, filter powerfc + boostcontrol kit + secret squirrel trick splitfire coilpacks + .8mm copper sparkies (Id put most on myself, but cant be stuffed leaning over the engine; just ruins my knees = not worth it)
  2. check out Deatschwerks in the states they may do topfeed Rb25det injectors
  3. deatschwerks 450cc RB25det sidefeed injectors Min Open time (ms) max idc 6v 7v 8v 9v 10v 11v 12v 13v 14v 15v 16v 17v 1.1 94% 5.89 4.48 2.97 2.25 1.88 1.73 1.46 1.37 1.25 1.12 1.09 1.02 deatchwerks 550cc RB25det sidefeed injectors 6v 7v 8v 9v 10v 11v 12v 13v 14v 15v 16v 17v 5.88 3.50 2.62 2.07 1.80 1.56 1.42 1.32 1.19 1.11 1.07 0.95
  4. is THRO the TPS signal? if so, I believe it needs a rewire. ie throttle motor sensor signal pin# is different on R34 GTT PowerFC vs Stagea ecu #51 compared to Blank whereas all other Throttle signal pins are the same #
  5. well.... I plugged my R34 GTT Power Fc into my 1997 Stagea today runs for the first 3mins reasonably steady, but gradually starts to hunt for the idle, by the 2.30min mark she is hunting from 800 down to 300, then stalls, cant get past that 3min mark without having to reset and retry. but definately runs. onlly errors on the PFc hand controller is "Boost" and "Thro", boost at 0.00v (just realized now I had the boost control kit option turned on, not off, oops) and thro at 5.11V also I never made a change to the Airflow metre setting. might go reinstall it, and setup the settings properly, see what happens wonder if Neo injectors have different values than non-neo rb25 injectors, ie latency difference from 0.528msec to xxxx this wont matter to me in the long run, as I have some S15 480cc highflowed to 550cc injectors, with 1.100msec latency. that will be setup at the tuners along with the mod to stop the engine check light
  6. 350mm centre of wheel to guard lip. sk bilstein look to be set at the 3rd lowest circlip, could be the 4th lowest mark. sorry, cant kneel to look properly, went by feel on the gruves. if you like the car low then try the 3rd from bottom circlip gruve. should be the 350mm mark, if not then 345mm. mine would look awesome at 345mm IMO, but SA laws state that 350 is the min distance.
  7. 360km isnt bad, honestly. when I first got mine I got around 410kms per tank to around 55L then tuned, a little less kms but more power and again and again now Im limited to 90kms per quarter if I pussyfoot for 80% of the tank the other 20% makes it worth it :laughing-smiley-014:
  8. sorry, cant help till tonight (car at home) dont have measurements for front/rear springs either =( anyone? if you get stuck install the shocks etc, and if it is too low or too high simply jack up each wheel one by one, spring clamp x 2 and tighten up, then release the circlip and reposition. you dont need to uninstall everything, just use 2x spring clamps, and do it slowly. =) GLHF
  9. thankx for the PM, appreciated, however I cant make the time checking out a house; trying to get out of debt b4 these knees f*k me&family over bigtime sorry
  10. series 1 pads are $150 for the 4 wheels (bendix advance and heavy duty) bad luck series 2 peeps
  11. keep us updated please * better hold off on the tune of mine then that being said, Im still thinking about piggybacking it. boostwerks have a bloke they will call in, a nissan wiring freak they reckon, so Im confident in my own way that a solution can be found. good luck with it
  12. PM please
  13. Id bring out the Billy and bust a few smoke rings but alas you cant drive afterwards. means me=noshow meh only smoke to take mind off the f**kING knees would love to come out for a drive all, but too fricken sore, and very very tired. oh my oh my what Id do for 4hrs sleep
  14. yeah S15 480cc are plug and play was going to buy a set but decided on deatschwerks, for the price ordered 450cc (sneaky sneaky lol) they said no stock, how about 550's for same price lol now Simon, I dont agree with "what you need is bigger injectors, a good pump and a tune". it always comes down to budget. if someone cant afford the Minimum $500 for 480cc+ injectors, then a $165 Nismo FPR isnt a bad thing. Using aftermarket ecu or piggybacks, the fpr can be made to work Well with a larger fuel pump, etc. Ive been happy with each tune Ive paid for since having the FPR. 120awkw original plus fuel pump/fpr/safc went to 140awkw, added stuff retuned to 160awkw tune, then 190rwkw tune x 2 next tune stock FPR will go back on, as I'll have the injectors and the Pfc. so it wont be needed. but yeah I argue those who say FPRs are shit. they have their place IMO.
  15. Id suggest a remap would be the better option more of a "complete" tune compared to a piggyback. Fuel Pump is DIY - see the DIY Thread Guide. Id recommend a Bosch 040 or 044 fuel pump. Id recommend a Nismo FPR (dont use a rising rate regulator) or in lieu of the FPR Im pretty sure you can upgrade your RB20 310cc(?) injectors to stock GTR items, 444cc I dont want much more power, but want a better tune hence Im awaiting delivery of Deatschwerks 550cc injectors from the states got a HKS heavy duty actuator, got a set of Splitfire coilpacks, and a R34 GTT PowerFc with boost control kit all ready to be re-wired up and tuned, just awaiting the injectors, and oh the ca$h too !! might even piggyback the Power-fc onto the stagea ecu
  16. Silvers Auto Centre, southern area of cbd (gilles st?) will look after you always took my V8 there after a holden dealership blew up some electronics we take our 2x HiAce toyotas there, trusted service
  17. Pirtek can make up custome hoses I had them make up some custom ones for my highflow enzed? get em to come to you (in mobile van) to measure up & fit what you are trying to do.
  18. the kakimoto sounds awesome, personally I had a Fujistubo 3" muffler on the stagea, then swapped it for a 3" Kakimoto muffler much higher flowing, more aggressive "RB" burble very happy and there is nothing wrong with a Mild steel system in lieu of stainless steel
  19. Bilstein shocks from sydneykid with the circlips for lowering standard springs Whiteline sway bars and bushes works a treat
  20. well, the EVO you have most likely utilises the anti-lag system (im sure evo's do, probably wrong tho), hence why your evo spools so much faster than the M35. also, the evo is 1bar psi and the stagea is half that? You'll need full intake and exhaust mods, ie free flowing air intake, and free flowing exhaust Bump up the boost to 12psi Arrange a SITC (apexi super ignition timing controller) as once dialed in on a dyno you can bring back the spool time by a few hundred rpm. A ball bearing high flow turbo will spool a few hundred rpm quicker again than a bush bearing high flow turbo Get the MV Automatics shift kit for the auto, well worth it. Once you do the shift kit, exhaust, intake mods, safc + sitc, larger turbo, better do the fuel pump too............. Gets fun and expensive the further you delve into it
  21. lol the safc IS a piggyback re larger injectors and piggybacks (ie safc, or safc + sitc, or emanage), from what I hear they can run larger injectors, but not that well. might be worth looking into a quick rom remap of the ecu (yoshi charges $495 by memory), as the safc then could be used to correct what a rom chip cant
  22. yes change water pump without a doubt I paid for mine to be done when I first got the stagea, then 2yrs later it went again Im pretty sure the company who did the work 1st time didnt change it, & over charged me a hell of a lot. Needless to say I'll never go back there again. Get every thing done. ie all fluids flushed, the complete 100000km service including all new belts etc, grease up of all lubricated areas, new oil filter, fuel filter and possibly even new fuel hose, etc etc etc
  23. Yeah I have the $160 hi-flow 3" cat converter with a bellmouth Just Jap stainless 3" front pipe (turbo to cat) for $220 plus a Kakimoto gtr racing 3" muffler for $100 with custom 3" pipe from cat to muffler at exhaust shop much cheaper than 2k plus kakimoto mufflers sound horn and are free flowing JJR dumps are good value for money I wish tho I got a big body cat converter.......
  24. Ive got a handful of one-off European made executive task chairs, sale price was $800 to $1000 $200 cash cant do $50 sorry
