  1. The par gear sets are amazing mate. I had billet selector forks in it too.I had mine for 5-6 years. With power over 800hp and 28 inch drag tyre it was doing its job.
  2. I've sold the par gear box and currently sorting out a power glide. I'll update with photos as the parts start to arrive.
  3. Brought some 275 radial pro tyres (28 inch) Installed a eboost 2, with the rpm sensor wired in to tune the boost with rpm. Best dyno graph is 830hp. It's got a little more boost and timing in it now but the car was sending the dyno into limp mode on the day and couldn't get a read out.
  4. I need to do an update on this. Here are some photos and I'll get a post to you boys by end of the week.

  6. Do you still have a air flow meter?
  7. I've had mine 8 years I've had my fair share of ups and downs but what's left in the car now is the best of the best by trial and error. Hope you enjoy
  8. [sharedmedia=gallery:albums:5754 Its been awhile since ive posted but here it is
  9. tomei drop in cams went in and i went to power play in qld. new tune was on 25psi and made 682hp here is the graph and a few photos from power play
  10. took it for a run before its got the bigger wheels and wider tires and before it gets this head work put in did a 11.98 @ 138mph had it on maybe 40% throttle in 1st and 2nd, any more and it spun and axle hopped then flat foot in 3rd and 4th. but its on the limiter over the line in 4th. did this on 17 inch wheels so the new 19s will have me still changing hard over the line for more mph and the tires a a 3 year old federal 275, there shit. new tires will we be anywhere from a 305 to a 335 just havent brought them yet so cant tell ya.
  11. OZ RACING wheels black in colour same as whats on a V8 super car in a 5 stud, v8 super cars do infact also run a 17 inch wheel 17x8 front with 245 tires 17x9 rear with 275 tires $1500 with tires call 0401 047 460 , my name is jay
  12. hay mate, i didnt read through ur whole thread to see if anyone else said this but it an oil cooler, not something u really want to skimp on money with (so ebay non brand names r out of the question) but some brand named ones r very over priced! and there noramally a kit so u have to put it where they tell u too which i think is shit. something like a PWR cooler is a great idea cause u can get it positioned where ever suits ur car and air flow best and u wnat to keep the oil lines as short as possible so the pump doesnt have to work as hard to move the oil a long distance. my house mate is selling a hks cooler that was barly on his car incase u want a good second hand on and ur mechanic can make a bracket and put it where ever u like. pm me if ur interested. i run a pwr cooler and it sits on the passenger side of the front grill, gets loads of air flow and has really short lines. hope this helps! and hope u enjoy ur rig at the track, its the most fun in the world
  13. hay mate, its how its tuned, he has given me some drivability. there arent any boost leaks and def not going a smaller rear housing. if anything id go a bigger turbo like the GTX45r, it would be perfect! with the 42r i can short change at 6000rpm and it still hard on boost on the gear change so its very generous on its power band. first thing is first and thats to get rid of the borrowed standard head and put my build one back on. maybe look at a 900hp plus with it all on. which is just pointless anyway. ta for having a think about it though.

  15. 550kw totally standard rb26 head and standard cams
  16. yaaaa, ive been saying this allllll along. i didnt know what old mate was getting at, i thought 550kw on 35psi was fairly decent. the head on it atm is TOTALLY standard! ill get a graph and post it up tomorrow or tuesday.
  17. having any sort of cam is a big help. on 35psi it made 550kw, u did read that didnt ya???
  18. Hay mate, im not sure when it its 33psi. Its the standard head that holds it but atm.
  19. its was spinning on the dyno, havent drivin it on the street with 740hp. the fuel rail is leaking atm, there changing this then ill get a pump fuel tune and ill let ya know.
  20. Yesterday after I posed the last post I took the car for a short drive with the 500kw. After giving it a solid 1st and 2nd hit the 1st injector did an o ring. The mechanics came road side to fix it and also discovered the fuel rail was leaking too. Today they put a hypertune fuel rail in and had it back on the dyno. Boost up to 35psi and it made 740hp. 550kw. With standard head still. Looking forward to the race head with this boost.
  21. made 500kw today on e85 plus 33psi revs to 8000rpm the standard head really lets it down but at lest its not off the road for a few months. ill update once the race head it back on with the next tune.
