  1. Whats that Auction number and car details. Ill see if the information is still avail. Any good agent would send you a screenshot of the details as courtesy. If in at auction i sometimes video record it for the customer.
  2. My Job is to ensure the vehicles found in japan are acurately checked for authentication. if that Vspec2 walks like a duck and quacks like a duck that will be the report i will give. As i mentioned before there are all dealer cars advertised in japan i have no control over there claims or specs provided, but if you become inteested in any vehicle thats where i go to work and check the authenticiy of each vehicle and this is done hands on in Japan not from a desk in Australia reliying on 3rd party inspections. we do our own inspections in japan.
  3. All the cars listed on our site are from dealers in Japan we stopped holding stock a quite few years ago. If you are interested in these cars in our dealer stock i need to contact them and we are only buying to order in the current market mainly for high end cars, Australia is no longer our main market. Although i am Australian and living and working in Japan, im one of the last Australians left in japan doing so as full time bussiness. Chances are a lot of people who have bought off J-spec and Iron chef over the years have bought cars through our services in Japan (did you ever wonder who was doing the work in Japan) we really only concentrated on supplying our regular dealers and brokers and regular importers. I have been Exporting and importing since 1997 i do not promote my services to private people in australia any longer. but im happy to help anyone who has any enquiry. Regards, Phil
  4. FEB 1990 is the built date via FAST
  5. email me if you dont want to post the vin here online regards, Phil
  6. We should see the 5% duty disappear. The duty on on cars should have been abolished when GST was introduced. Basically it is a tax on a tax. Lets hope this happens but I have no faith in tony Abbott or any of his monkey back stabbing policy's. he is what I call un Australian I haven't seen him do anything positive yet. He is a joke in the international news for everything I've seen on TV here in Japan. Paul Keating was right about him... "God help us if he becomes PM".
  7. Process is much simpler than you realize. ill handle all the documents free of course. it takes 5 minutes of my time to organize shipping docs, import approvals , transport to the compliance shop. we are and still do broker many cars from start to finish Australia wide and many of them have been free if we export the car from japan.
  8. Happy to help in anyway we can. BTW we are still in japan and still the only Broker to supply Private people in Australia been in Bussiness since 1997 with our hands on the cars in Japan doing pre inspections. Recently We are changing our modeling to go back to supplying peeople direct instead of being the middle man making all the others look so good. If you need hep in any aspect im more than happy to help free of charge if you think you can do most things yourself with a little guidence. Regards, Phil
  9. that looks factory to me its just over spray when painted at the factory. ive had my head under plenty of R33's id care to count.
  10. send us an email its a pretty simple process
  11. maybe a print out of Nissan Fast specifications might suffice ?
  12. j-spec site is now back up and running guys BTW we also have Auctions online if anyone is interested in taking a look Auc.directimported.com
  13. Ben is on Holidays till the 10th .... everything should be fine. im assuming the server is having a holiday also.
  14. Hi Ken thanks for the Feed back ... unfortunately your right the site is getting a a little old and needs revamp. finding someone to do it on the other hand is a little difficult as over the past few years ive paid out over $2000 to have stuff done only to have zero result. Private importers have not been such a large aspect of lately so the site has taken a back seat. Anyway we have been here since 1997 so i hope your confidence is ok with that. feel free to offer any web services if you know anyone capable regards, Phil
  15. Want to know what your buying best to import it directly from japan yourself.
  16. what sort of genuine stuff are you asking ? Factory options ? KLM or auction data
  17. this website is where you put the 17 digit VIN as i put in my 1st post http://raws.dotars.gov.au/rawswebpublic/RAWPubVehSearch.asp it will tell you the details
  18. what type of import is it race ? or personal import yellow ? or something that shouldn't be here ?
  19. Take a look on the compliance plate for green type. Or purple you can search for approved vehicle on raws website put your Vin in and it will display compliance information inc dates complied. http://raws.dotars.gov.au/rawswebpublic/RAWPubVehSearch.asp
  20. 3 million yen at today's rated exchange 1 to 1 approx $48,000 - $50,000 landed complied condition you would be getting grade 4 car with under 100,000klm or very close to it. these Vspec2 are a little harder to buy but with the right person giving you auction access should be able to allow you to search and see for yourself.
  21. if it has been de-registered there is no time frame ... it is only effective if the registration has lapsed.
  22. its a shame if it was still registered in QLD you could have found a way to transfer it in your name and after 12 months of ownership you could have easily just swapped the rego over to WA without going over pits.
  23. From a banks point of View .. TO HARD..... the vehicle is not in Australia so they have no way of knowing if it will even arrive. your only option would be to get an importer or Broker to front all the costs up until the point of registration then your bank would do a loan that is of course if you qualify. I have on the other hand have had many customers Borrow from the bank a personal unsecured loan for the purchase. this would be the only option to finance from Japan. bear in mind the banks usually have a limit for the amount they will loan unsecured depending on your assets.
