  1. What a great day and yes that Z-Tune was a beast, it sounds fantastic at full steam through turn 1 with monster brakes. I was out there in 700 the red S15, Oran park is excellent and I cannot wait for the next track day. Cheers Patrick
  2. Yes I have rang Dominic the main supplier and had a chat to him, hence the treadwear rating. If you can understand that a semislick will have a treadwear rating of around 100, but then it's your money go for your life.
  3. The federal is not a semi-slick it has a treadwear rating of 180 so more like a RT615 which also is not a semi-slick, both are more like a sticky road tyre. Regards Patrick
  4. I would choose the RT615's and yes a difference of 80 could be a lot of Km's.
  5. If you are doing at lot of Km get the T1R or a second set of rims for the weekend. The 615's will be too soft.
  6. RT 615's are a very grippy tyre hence the wear rating, they are not noisy at all and are good enough to do low 1:12's around wakefield. The wet weather traction is ok but in the dry will surpass the T1R's, you will only get 12 to 16 thousand Km out of the RT 615 though. Or 4 track days and 10K... :laughing-smiley-014: Cheers Patrick
  7. Shane, I think everyone will be hard pressed to keep up with the green S14... But then a certain pewter S15 may give him and everyone a run for their money..
  8. Nope just a few little suspension tweaks and semi-slicks if I can afford it... Then Shane is in for a little more competition...
  9. Hey Arup, Yes I have been lurking here for a while now, I had lots of fun trying to get into the 11's on the day I think a set of semi-slicks is the go but maybe I can find .23 of a second somewhere... Good to see you guys go back on the track in the afternoon after you were looking at leaving early... Cheers Patrick
  10. Tosh, Thanks to yourself and Powerplay once again, it was a great day all round. It was also nice to meet all the fellow enthusiasts at the track, mine was the little red S15 silvia(700). I had fun chasing the racing Skylines while trying not to get too close to those flames... Cheers Patrick
