I just bought one of these cheapies from ebay as well, its got all the goodies - BT, tv, gps etc. I thought id see how it goes... link to ebay item but how do i hook up my sub to it when it only has one wire labeled 'sub woofer out'? to hook it up to my amp doesn't it need two wires- pos+ and neg-?

just to add to this... can raising the boost to say 14lbs with stock cooler on the neo damage engine/internals?? also wouldn't boost cut or RnR come in somewhere around this point?

has anyone used these guys b4: <a href="http://www.billetturbochargers.com/Turbo_rebuilds_and_hiflows.ews">billet turbochargers</a>, i think they are in Qld. i want to highflow the stock rb20 turbo and have ~200rwkw, with as close to stock response as possible i think a stage1 should hopefully do it (290hp). And if you can be bothered to read all that crap on that page it looks impressive lol. just wondering has anyone used them or heard of them, some feedback would be great and if anyone can recall the prices? i emailed them jst waiting on a response.. and while we are at it, is there any place down here in vic that will highflow the rb20 turbo, recommendations or experiences??

Just got a call from vicroads saying that someone had tried to register a vehicle with the same VIN and engine number as my mums car, its not a skyline or any thing just a commodore. They told me to let her know and to go into our nearest vicroads and get it checked. So what could this mean?? is this bad for my mum?

hey thanks for the help but trust me mate i have, i even printed out a copy but the thing is the colours on the pdf and the harness dont match, even tried just using the sockets it says but the rears dont work

Ok so i thought there may be a problem with the rears, so i decided to check them from the amp plug and they worked fine.. so why cant i get them to work from the front plug??? For the front speakers the colours look to be the same on the front plug as the amp (however couldnt get them to work from the amp plug for some reason) For the rear speakers the colours on the front plug are different to the colours on the amp.. help someone What colours are used the rear speakers on the front plug?????? i have tried trial and error but couldnt come up with the goods

hey i just bought a pioneer with blue tooth ($600 + deck) but im having trouble finding the existing rear speaker wires if anyone can remember what colour the rear speaker wires were that would be a great help this is kinda urgent coz im in the middle of installing it now and i wanna have it done sooon

i believe the word your looking for here is super impose .. if memory serves me correctly super imposition is caused by two sound waves, when they meet they either cancel eachother out or add to eachother to make a greater sound. I'd say its got more to do with resonance than super imposinig. Its all about harmonics, the resonant frequency depends on the length of the pipe. i have the formulars around here somewhere, if the exhaust gas is shooting through the exhaust pipe at a certain frequency or wave length if you like, and the pipe is the right length you would set up a standing (sound) wave (refered to as a harmonic) this causes resonance, and resonance is what you dont want, resonance is waht amplifies the sound wave through the pipe, hence drone. resonance would occur at different rpm's deppending on exhaust, but a jap exhaust would probably be at tuned lengths to try and eliminate this i would think if your budget allows try to get a good quality one, the cheap ones are thin walled and tend to sound a bit tinny. Im in the market for an exhaust and i dont think i can go past the trust pe2, ive heard it first hand and it sounds so nice especialy when you give it some

i just rang shannons to get a quote on my 1992 r32 gts-t, i am on my P's as i am only 2O and the guy i spoke to said unfortunatly it is over p/w ratio so therefore uninsurrable i sed: are you serious i thought it was only the r33s and r34s he said: nah it 6 cylinder turbo so its over power to weight ratio i said: are you sure because im pretty sure its not he said: ye if we insure you and you have an accident you wont be covered because its over, youd be better going to justcar because it would cost you about 4 grand through us anyway im like: yeah ok whatever mate Im sure others on their P's have insurance with them, thats rediculous!!!!!!! last time i checked it was 160kw/1290kg = 124.03 some models may vary but this guy had no idea iIf anyone here has had experience with Shannons i would very much appreciate their expirences/addvice, how old you are, wat car you drive how much you pay anything relevent

hey guys thanks for all the positive comments.. i just cant wait to get it, have to learn manual all over again lol. exactly, it was a bit considering its stock but it looks damn good and if it doesnt give me much trouble then i cant complain but we'll see when i get it hey yes car has been resprayed fractory black colour i think it black pearl metalic all their cars are respays some same as oringinal some comletely different colour like a couple blue 32s he had lol black 32's FTW they look so hot, they all do but black is my pick.. Definatly will be joining up ive just being waiting till i get my car.. what sort of benifits you get for joining? compliance is all done he just needs to get a plate for it but i get what u are saying it makes perfect sence good to hear hopefully all their cars are like that mate if i had my car by then i would be in but its going to be about another 1 1/2 weeks b4 i get it anyway guys thanks to all of u who replied .. now bring on the 32 and bring on summer hehe cant wait

hey guys i finally have a skyline after almost two years i finally got fed up of looking for one and got it lol.. it was either this or wait a about 12 months for a 34, i really didnt want to wait any longer and ive always been looking for a 32 like this so when it came up i went and had a look, the only thing is it is stock as a rock which i think is a good thing.. >Its a '92 R32 gts-t >86,... kms >coupe >manual >black I bought it on saturday from a place called japcar on sydney rd(anyone dealt with them??), i went there about 4 times to look at this car and on the 4th i got it, it looks very tidy and it drives really smooth. it should be ready in about two weeks because he said he has to get a compliance plate for it (i thought this should have been done already), and then book it in to be registered at vicroads. So for now i guess i just have to play the waiting game... and look for an alarm/immobaliser that works well with a TT, and insurance, sound system, wheels, exhaust, suspension omg so much to do anyway we'll see what happens 1 mod at a time. Just thought i'd share the good news and show some pics. let me know what you guys think p.s. the air left air vent is not missing like it shows in the pic lol
