  1. R33 GTS-T Series 2 I’m selling my R33 Series 2. Have had this for over 10 years, but not been driven much for the past 5+ years. Has recently done a head-gasket, due to overheating from a blocked radiator. I don’t have the time or energy to repair it, would make a great project for someone else. Mechanically, it was very good, made 239rwkw at Boost Worx. Has a big high-flowed turbo from Sliding Performance, PowerFC, Nismo fuel pump. Paint work was starting to fail – buffs up well, but after a couple months, some areas start to go hazy again. Needs new tires. Power steering rack was leaking a little bit – reservoir needed topping up every few months. These are all the bad things - I like to be honest and disclose any problems, not cover them up. 150,000km Would be a great project for someone to take on. Never been defected, currently unregistered, but will re-register for sale to avoid any chance of having to take through Regency. Asking $6,000. 5. Weather you have this particular Seagate HDD or any HDD, you should be backing up regularly!
  6. I'd be interested if you can provide more info on this, i've got the same PSU and hear a pop (and can see the sub move through its extents) on power-on and power-off. I've put it down to the sound cards i've used. I'm currently using the Audigy 2NX USB (External) card - this creates problems with roadrunner (several threads on mp3car about this sound card), something to do with the USB side of things - the computer resumes from hibernation and the sound card doesnt re-appear in time.
  7. Thanks, you just saved me from wasting $200. I'll keep looking elsewhere for the EP45-UD3R !!
  8. MSY have NOTHING in stock at the moment, taking forever to get all my bits. From what i've read on the Gigabyte website EP45-UD3R = DDR2 RAM EP45T-UD3R = exactly same features as EP45, but DDR3 RAM. However the EP45T commonly is cheaper than the EP45?! Is there any downside to getting the EP45T, and sticking DDR2 RAM in it?
  9. All Type Crash, (Para Hills) have a good rep, my 33 is in there at the moment.
  10. I've got a rough idea what timings mean (thanks to wikipedia), and i think the kingston 1066 ram i'm looking at is 5-5-5-15 which is ok. but is the throughput important too? i saw some figure mentioned (i think MB/s), which was different from the speed of the RAM. Been out of the computer scene for a few years, this thread+a couple PC User Mags have helped learn and try to get up to speed, but havent seen a memory comparison in PC user yet.
  11. Ah of course... i should have compared: 1x4GB DIMM with 2x2GB DIMM's so as soon as you split the RAM over 2 DIMMs, you'll get faster access because the mboard will utilise dual-channel?
