  1. Ahk then, just that I heard from some guy at my work that he knows someone who has done it there... and some dude at repco told me that too.. Might drive down there and check it out anyway tho.. apparently their courses are pretty good
  2. Try going to somewhere like speedworks, I KNOW they have them.. Most of the usual places would as well... like xspeed probably. speedworks is in osborne park, carbon court. Ph: 92428888
  3. I think we all feel the same way.. has anyone been to the AHG driver centre near the airport? Apparently people drift there.. they track is pretty good from what I have seen, just down the road from my work..
  4. Ah stink!
  5. Just found out they are ANZ rio's
  6. I am in a bit of a dillema... I have some rims which I just got through a private sale, they were thought to be able to fit an R32, they fit alright, but the offset is wrong.. (I think). I really need a set of 17's for an R32 that has the right offset, but I also need to get rid of these ones first.. Anyone got some 17's they wanna swap? they fit an R33 I think.. Also they are in the WA for sale section.
  7. Is that what the problem would be? Incorrect Offset? that would cause those kinds of problems yeh? And also is the offset different between R32's and R33's?
  8. Anyone tape it? Pissed that I missed it
  9. Hey I just got some rims, not sure of the offset, 17in tho, was told they will fit on my R32, they do bolt on, but the rears stick out quite a bit... and the fronts rub a little when i drive... are they not suited? they came off an R33 apparently...
  10. Yep I can verify that, will spike to 11, then drop and hold at 10.. but.. for some reason mine spikes to 12 psi in 5th.. dont know why tho...
  11. On my 32 there was a slight outline of a 3" hole there anyway, so I just cut that out and put the pipe through there...
  12. Makes sense.. What I meant was the afm has inbuilt compensations for the air coming back through the plumback, when you take the plumback away the mixtures aren't right because of those compensations.. So yeh - the electronic means to fix that would probably have something to do with that... right?
  13. Sorry to hijack thread but.. when you switch from a plumb back to atmo blow off valve, does it not play havoc with the air flow meter taking into account having the plumb back, with the a/f mixtures? Like mine, when i disconnect the plumb back hose the idle is really rough... stalling occasionally..
  14. I read on some stats site with heaps of jap import cars that the GTS-t R32 was like 1260kg, 40Kg heavier than a silvia. I like that stat!
  15. HAHAHA, I had some old irish dude tell me im a f**king idiot because I changed lanes about 50meters ahead of him as I was coming to a stop at a set of lights, he wouldn't let up! I just ignored him and laughed
  16. Nice one mate, looks good!
  17. Jeez I hope its all done! Really looking forward to this! Also, I know these things can be unpredictable, but I have to ask.. Am I likely to cause serious mechanical damage to my car by participating? I know these kinds of events place a lot of strain on components in the car, but I really wanna do this.. the car is in pretty good shape at the moment so I don't think it will.. what do you guys reckon? Im still gunna participate regardless of opinion as I have been waiting for ages to get into the sport, but I would like to know what you all think..
  18. I feel Joondalup is quite crap too..
  19. Yeh I was wondering that too, Whitepages.com.au doesn't mention one in collie exactly, maybe there is one close by... can someone who knows the area check it out..
  20. Is there much in the way of accomodation down there? I should probably think about getting some organised.. Oh yeh, and is it for one or two days?
  21. Bugger, those 17's would have been nice... just got a set of rims. Steve if you don't want any of them.... hahahahah
  22. I was wondering, what kind of power steering fluid I should use in the R32... Yes i've tried searching that didn't work, and I've looked through the DIY and maintenance threads(Although probably not very hard)
  23. I was laughing the whole time hahahah Yeh, i thought the guy in the four door was really FLYING!! The guy doing the segment was probably travelling below the speed limit anyway... Stupid news hahahah But yeh, drivers do suck here..
  24. I'm in WA so this probably doesn't apply to you guys, but my car, R32 GTSt coupe is registered and insured in my name.. Insurance is a c**t tho... costs too much
