  1. it could be a few things, when did the problem start? Whats changed since the problem started? any error lights on the dash? auto or manual ? any hacks / mods done on the car which are bogus (ie mangled safc installs etc) any diag from the greddy emanage? how is it tuned? does stock ECU give any errors (get consult)

PM-R33 is spot on. if it fails this is OK as the engine stalls its only when you are pushing power out of it, and it cant keep enough the engine has enough fuel to run, but not enough to be safe, so it leans out your engine goes bang we've seen a GTR R34 do this with a pump that couldn't keep up, costly rebuild and dangerous fire
  3. seperate the problems and clarify the facts it sounds like you have two issues 1) rev tacho goes spastic 2) stalls at traffic lights does that sound correct? if so, try and tackle each problem seperately and focus on the basics when did the problem start? what changed when the problem started?
  4. a bog stock GTST is fairly nimble in terms of aggressive power and "woosh" that is, from factory, its setup to drive very normal like and give even power increase so you wont feel it magically "come on boost" or "wheelspin" instantly like some would expect its only when you tune the stock ecu, modify it, increase boost and un-restrict the motor, that it behaves like that
  5. my stock pump couldnt keep up with 12psi and 190rwkw so we had to upgrade it i got a GTR R33 one for fair price so that went in
  6. what does it rev out to? if it has 21psi at 4100rpm and peak power is at 5300rpm what is max rpm ?
  7. if you are interested in 0 to 100 times and only that, you need as much help as you can ditch the piggy back and stock ecu and get a stand alone, tune it aggressively and run 12psi but youll need a few other mods for that too, heavy duty clutch, fuel pump, fmic

  10. average power makes the car quicker, not a peak single value so its probably the quickest it will be, despite not making a big single 300 value whats the curve look like? it should be pretty good on street
  11. if your launching at 4500rpm is a single HD strong enough? perhaps twin plate would have been better ie baby it around until you can afford tiwn place. would be ashame to see you fry this one in a short time and have to replace again

  13. to be around mid to high 4 seconds mark youll need clutch intake exhaust tune fmic tyres suspension work good launch control with those mods i had 192rwkw and was able to get 4.8 0 to 100km/h which is pretty quick the whole 0 to 100 comes down to launch, if you cant launch, dont even bother so much time is lost in recovering a botched launch if you dont know how to launch, less RPM is better than more, ie 1200rpm launch is ideal if you have no idea vs 2500rpm its all about clutch controll and getting it on as quick as possible top out 2nd, dont bother changing into 3rd

  22. see if rhdjapan can get you engine loom i think from memory these guys source from japan oem nissan so it may be exxy, but it will %100 legit and brand new
  23. for guest speakers we are interested in companies, vendors, suppliers etc but also memebrs who have something they can talk about anything related to our club and common interests we all share ie someone could do a presso on the new ipad and what it looks like etc and best use for it etc it doesnt all have to be about 600hp GTR's etc and the latest turbo kit i did one on the WD HD tv movie system so members out there, if you have some knowledge on something it would be great to have you come to a meeting and offer a bit of time on an area of interest
  24. postman pat how would you reference engine efficiency as an equation? and what about things like turbo linear flow vs rpm etc like POWER = STD POWER x (TURBO x INTAKE x EXHAUST x TUNE) ie in its most simplistic form so say INTAKE is 1.0 for std bog stock and say a pod filter is 1.03 and pod filter with ducting and shield is 1.04 how woudl you factor in a std turbo which is linear , vs say a T88 which is non-linear and insta-wheelspine when efficient? say std turbo TURBO is 1.0 and T88 it is 2.25 but that would just magically shift the power up, which isnt right, so how do u linear bend the curve ? (in mathematics)
