i have a RB25DET, PFC, Gearbox, exhaust, FMIC (ARE 600x300x75), all intercooler piping and custom plenum, loom, etc. 160,000km (from memory) reason for selling is that i want to put a VH45DE into my R33 GTS25t

WASTE OF TIME Have a look at a VH45DE which is a 4.5ltr Nissan V8 with a 4sp auto. I am guessing it would fit perfectly in the ol' fairmont and at the same time it would have enough torque to move a large fairmont which would have to weigh over 1800kg. You are aware that the RB25DET is a "revvy" motor and is not as lazy as the ford 4L six. I think you will find a RB25DET front cut is more expensive than a VH45DE. If not you can buy all the gear out of my skyline (1995 RB25DET, 5sp gearbox, pfc, custom plenum,fmic etc) because i want to sell it and get one of these V8s in my skyline.

No skin of my nose But for the record even if you had a black car and someone had a black wing the paint on the wing would have faded differently to the paint on the car so you will need to re paint it regardless. You'll see.

I have a red series 1 M spec wing with full led cluster collecting dust. I am curious as to why you are going from a series 2 to a series 1 wing?

Cant you get the VH41DE in a 4wd version ie it must have the correct sump etc a 4wd application? It might be the way to go if you want 4wd V8 instead of this idea over head valve (push rods) 2 valves per cylinder is performance. OHV 2 Valves per cylinder should have died many years ago but GMH are a bit dim.

Guys are you aware that Nizpro is running the VK56DE in their race boats? I have a short video of a web site that shows a VK56DE with twin turbos given a serious belting. Pretty sure you can purchase it from Nizpro. If i could find someone to buy all my running gear (motor, gearbox, pfc, are ic, etc) I would get a VH45DE installed in my R33 aswell.

Thanks for the comments guys I am primarily after comfortable city use with spirited weekend track use. I was told that getting a set of Teins for all four corners would set me back $2300 which i am fine with as long there are people around Oz that have these ones with the "special mods" that live up to what they are claimed to do.

Hi Guys just for a quick FYI. I was the second person to buy a R33GTSt skyline (Red) in Darwin (back in early 2000 from memory) but i now live in Brisbane. I had problems with insurance and eventually got shannons to insure me and as such i have talked to the NT Shannons rep numerous times. The reason shannons stopped insuring skylines/imports in the territory was because there had been several incidents but one day some young wanna be dip sht punk fronted up with his skyline saying he was the best driver on the planet only to write the thing of a week or so later costing Shannons dearly. Hence no more import insurance in the Territory and who can blame shannons for doing it? Its a shame we are all paying more for insurance because of the stupidity of a few who couldnt be trusted with a 1.3ltr suzuki swift.

Hi All I have talked to the local Tein dealer here in brisbane (in moorooka) and he says they have had their Tein suspension re-engineered for brisbane/australian roads specifically. Can anybody here running this suspension let me know how it handles. ie does it bottom out easily, when you load up the outside wheel coming around a corner and there is an undulation in the road does it understeer easily, etc.

So let me get this straight Drift_Limo wants the motor with turbo attached and standard plenum. Note you will have to get compression testing done at a workshop of your choice at your cost. Magik32 wants the gear box HavnFun70 wants the pfc, ic and piping with custom front feeding plenum. This leaves the nismo clutch If you can all pm me with individual offers which need to total around the $4k5 mark.
