Not hand timing as such.. What they mean is a button is pressed every time a car crosses the line and car numbers are allocated in the computer. It's getting a bit dated but it's actually not too bad for accuracy against our in-car timers..

Jack, With the WRX Club practice times don't count and aren't shown in the results. ..but how SAU treat your times is up to them i.e. (We could get the times if you needed them..)

Loved the drift action all day long from the RWD lads Ryan had an awesome drift all the way around the keyhole which we failed to capture on film. Loved the 'Austin Powers' efforts of the Datto trying to turn around after the spin while staying off the dirt

FYI, we'll be running a new course on the old track. Starting on the National Circuit heading up hill towards the bridge, you'll turn right and go anticlockwise around the keyhole before heading up the straight around the bend and down the 'S' to the finish.

Jenny (Timetronics) didn't know how to prepare that sheet, we tried but it wasn't grabbing the lowest times. Ian returns from timing the V8's at Oran Park today and I have already asked him to prepare the summary page and post it on the natsoft site. So stay tuned.
