  1. I haven't I'm afraid and it brings a tear to my eye. I sold the turbo kit to another dude on this forum. I hope to find out one day how he went with this set-up. I'll be back on this forum soon when I get back in my garage and stir some horsepower up! lol Sorry for the long awaited reply!
  2. Sorry to all those unanswered question, as I have been away and to top it off I came back and had some issues with my laptop. So all those questions may be brought up again, via pm Thanks.
  3. To everybody messaging me in regards to the welder for sale. It sold immediately after being advertised. However, I can get more of the same. So let me know. Cheers, Bill
  4. - The only set of studs from ARP that I can think of that have three studs larger than the rest are the main studs!
  5. I have a near new OS Giken twin plate/ pressure plate and lightened flywheel set-up. Asking $1500

  7. For those that have inquired. Motor Posted to: Brisbane is approx $350 Sydney is approx $175 These prices are from PACK & SEND. My apologies for the LATE REPLY
  8. pm sent 'Master D' This inverter welder has 65% duty cycle at 160amps; and 100% duty at 130amps. Thats plenty of grunt for trade or home use!
  9. RB25 can only run side fed injectors, So supra 2j's are yors only choice from Denso Toyota parts. 1jz are top-feed 2jz are side feed
  10. Get the bearings from a bearing wholesaler: main and conrod approx - 140 (clevite/king/ACL) piston rings - $120 bore/hone & acid dip block - $230 Head clean up - $80 Machinist can also get all your rings/bearings and specific h.gasket. Cheers, Bill
  11. Hey Jarrod, For that price you can find yourself a $1500 short motor RB25DET. Im not sure the DE oil pump is up to scratch for turbo use. Or decomp to approx 9:1 and get yourself a set of bearings, vrs kit with correct headgasket thickness for lowering your compression, arp rod-bolts, NI oil pump and chromoly rings. That should support up to 300rwkw. Cheers, Bill ( K-frame, mounts etc.) :laughing-smiley-014:
  12. On a more positive note! Since the head gasket was replaced; most likely due to it failing, oil will of most likely found its way into the radiator and shown a white milky substance under the radiator cap / oil cap! Now, when the gasket was changed the previous owner may of not flushed out the radiator of oil residue. As such, I personally would not make any decisions on rebuilding or removing the head cylinder, until a compression test shows there is a pressure drop between two adjacent cylinders. If your head is cracked, the motor will, in general, run fine up until the crack experiences enough heat to expand and flow water/coolant into the oil gallery. So basically you would of noticed frequent over-heating and real bad engine performance. Is that so? Cheers, Bill
  13. If your R33 is a GTST, then I don't see why not. Haven't heard of anyone doing it to a RB25. But know a few CA18's running these injectors without much fiddling around.
  14. Pm sent Dan. one cam gear sold, one left over!
  15. Hey fellas, I bought this portable Tig welder new like a month ago. I used it ounce or twice for a small arc welding job. It still has warranty and I will provide receipts for it. This is not an el-cheapo from E-bay. Its a quality welder and welds quite well. It has a high-duty cycle and will take up to 4mm rods. In other words, you can weld up to 10-15mm thick steel!!! It comes with a arc handle and earth cable. Tig torch and leads can be supplied for an extra fee of $60 It weighs only 4.5kg as apposed to the old tranformer style technology that has many moving parts and weighs 5 times heavier! I am selling this as I need the money for an Oxy-acetylene set-up for my trade. The price is $450 posted anywhere in AUS! I purchased it from a store in the CBD in Melbourne.

  17. I wouldn't recommend running your injectors at a 100% injector duty cycle as you risk detonation. The reason being that as your engine consumes some cold (dense air) it will require an equal amount of fuel for combustion, so if your reach 100% duty at say 5000rpm you lean your AFR out and starve the engine from fuel! As the injectors can no longer meet the fuel demand! The std. injectors are approx 375cc so in general will only support a maximum of 375hp at the engine. To add to this, running a far too rich AFR will also increase the level of knocking in the engine due to 'heat spots,' caused by the build up of carbon deposits on the piston head from over-fueling! Good luck! Go to a tuner Not the local butcher! :laughing-smiley-014:
  18. It was on the car when imported. So, therefore 2nd hand. Nevertheless, in perfect working order. I believe its a 1.5way!
