my old car never had a problem grabbing 2nd sometimes with a crappy dump of the clutch it shook the whole dash etc, but more revs solved that. get up on high revs and then play with it on the brake. should be smooth when your stabbing the gas while on the brake, leaving a nice set of strips up some road

do your bulbs etc look the same as mine? like the 3 pins at the end which a plug goes into? was yours H1 bulb?

Thanks for the info I am still considering whether to get 4300K or 6000K, but 4300K may be the way to go At the moment my halogen stock bulbs are so crap that oncoming cars to me, I can barely see the road.. it feels like my lights arn't even on half the time. Would the H1 HID kit fit, or would it need some sort of modifications?

well I need to replace this globe tomorrow. and my H1 HID kit arrives next week so would there need to be any modification to the H1 HID kit or will it be pretty straight forward to install, plug n play?... sounds like there could be some difficulties as you said 'h1 bulb in a holder'.?

the base of the globe? where the 3 pins are at the bottom? cause there is nothing there. i don't see any print at all anywhere. does the actual globe come off the adapter part? because I have to replace this part, my light doesn't work the filament is loose inside and busted, .. so when you buy it do you buy the actual whole piece I posted the picture of? or do you just buy the globe to suit it and replace it (if it comes apart?)

Hi people Cant find out what globe type this is? See the pic Some people say its h3, h3c, h1, h1 with a h4 connector.. Ive had mix answers. My car is a 1992 R32 (HCR32) Type-M RB20DET 5spd manual. The headlights are the new projector shape ones, not the old n1 (89) ones. Could someone please clarify this once and for all, as im trying to purchase HID kit and have no clue which path to go down.

it was caused from the engine bay from what i was told,.. no one got hurt, soon as he saw fire he jumped out leaving everything,..

ya some of my mates told me about him cause they are friends with him.. he was thrashing it and then something happened and it caught in flames something to do with some fuel spitting around in the engine bay. he had no insurance either.

what did you do to fix it? i bought a heater core from a halfcut, thinking about changing mine this uni holidays.. i heard its possible through the glovebox, found a couple threads DIY howto's on this forum.. might give it a bash.

mate you might have an aftermarket fuel pump,.. i have a bosch 040 and it hisses nicely out the back of the car.. it starts to growl even louder when im almost out of fuel also. and if you had an exhaust leak you would hear it.. it would sound very loud depending on the size of it.

under my deck i have a little tray i removed the cover for the tray and the avcr sits nice and flush under my deck with a bit of velcro to hold it in place when i park in dodgy places i just put it flat inside the tray so you cant see anything but velcro

ya i swapped my rb20det turbo to a r34 gtt neo turbo and everything lined up. so you will have no problems esepcially if you already got a rb25det stock turbo. basically the same.

yeah I've done the same, unplugd them both and joined them togethor, put a piece of plastic sprinkler pipe inbetween and secured it tightly.

use ultimate fuel 98RON it was probably tuned on that. BP ultimate not sure if they got it in tas? should do when i bought my r32 it was relatively stock with catback and pod and used on premium, it ran like shit, soon as i put in ultimate it ran alot better.

thanks heaps guys I just managed to bypass it for now took couple mins think I just caught it in time aswell, my radiator was empty.. luck ;D

if i was to go by the second option as a quickfix just to stop the leaking how would it be done? blocking it through the engine bay somewhere? is it easy to get to and block? just need the car back on road and will rip out my dash in a few weeks to properly fix it.

Update just had another look Near the pedals I look towards the center about in line with the gearbox and I can see coolant sitting in there? Seems to be sort of coming from there? Also when I was driving I could hear it makin hissin sounds.... Anyone?

Hi guys Just yesterday I could smell coolant while driving and didnt think too much of it but then today I noticed my shoe wet after about a 30 min drive to work and I then looked up under near the pedals and noticed a few drops of coolant coming from somewhere Where would it be? some pipe cracked? What should i be looking for to replace? Could someone please give me some advice Thanks
