    Tokyo Auto Stores?

Hi SAU, heading over to Tokyo next week just wanting to know if there are any good places to look for small auto parts, like a powerPC/AVC-R/Stuff that will fit ina suitcase? will be in Ueno for a week or so then heading to Kyoto and then back to Takeshiba. but i will be trying to travel around most of Tokyo. heading over for a holiday but i thought if there was anywhere good to go i would try and squeeze in some shopping while i'm there. So sad that i am missing out on the Nismo fest, booked my flights and accomidation and then found out about the event. last time i book anything before checking SAU. Thanks.
  2. what do you want a cookie? a good detailer is worth there wieght in gold. give it a go your self just need some good cut and polish and some elbow grease. it's a skill that can be perfected in time. just don't take of too much paint.
  3. my bad must have miss read it, yeh i was talking about the VG30 turbo.
  4. Yes the do fit with little modification. you will need to get the inlet pipe for your intercooler streched or get a new pipe as the the VG30 turbo has a 3" outlet compared to the stock skyline one which is 2.5". they are a great upgrade on the RB20 though . But as far as bot up pattern and flange they are identical to the stock.
  5. So as most of us know Dr Drift was here last week tunning. Did anyone on here get there car/s Tuned? if so what where the results. He did manage to get an extra 20kw out of a stock as a rock R32 just by tunning it. I also heard so folks learnt a very important lesson about putting ALL the Injector seals back in when you change the injectors
  6. yeh good man will find out how well it holds out in about 700kms didn't make much mess either luckly Billy's head was there to soak up most of the gearbox oil. How is the wagon? sam said you where having some troubles.
  7. wouldn't happen to know the name at all Ken? cheers ps. nice van
  8. I've just pulled an OS giken super single out of my car as it is cactus. it's a very nice clutch and flywheel combo and the only thing wrong with it is the presure plate. my question is there anywhere i can get areplacment one or have the clutch rebuilt. Cheers.
  9. Anyone know a good Panel beater around town someone very kindly decided to leave a nice scratch down the side of my car. it has also left the panel dented. Should just need the panel work done as i have a respray lined up. any help would be great. Cheers Ryan
  10. really depends what your goals for the car are. the stock manifolds are pretty good and unless your chassing huge numbers your better of spending money elsewhere. the sliding proformance turbos are an awsome upgrade as well. best bet would be just do some searching on here this site has to be one of the best resources there is when it comes to anything skyline.
  11. Hi Ryu what skyline did you end up getting? i do most of the work on my line with the help of my old man. if i ever get sick of it or gon't have the time i always take it to Dave. plus he knows my old man so thats a bonus. Dave always looks after me so i'll always go back.
  12. Hey guys just recently got my car on the raod again. while it was off we pulled the gearbox out to have a look at the clutch and throwout bearing as it was making some noise. pulled it off everything was fine replaced the bearing anyway. The pressure plate was in god condition and the clutch had no burn marks on it. the clutch is an OS giken super single with a pillared fly wheel. after i got it back on the road i thought i would take it for a bit of a strap, here is where the problem started. the clutch just started slipping as soon as the car came onto full boost. backed off then the thing was damn near impossible to get into gear. stopped the car put the car into first (well forced) even when my foot was fully pressed on the peddle the car was moving forward like the clutch wasn't engaging properly. the car also shudders when i take of slowly will be pulling the clutch out shortly to have a look at the fkn thing does anyone have any idea how this could have happend? the clutch was perfectly fine when it went it it was never flogged.
  13. i have heard some rumours floating around that the nissan patrol clutch master cylinder will fit on the r32 gts-t is this true? and if so what year make and model of patrol. just asking as i hear they are identical just that the patrol one is alot cheaper. and mine has just packed up Thanks in advance.
