Hmmm... whoring is certainly slow today. Paul/anyone can anyone advise me of where the Logo that the SAU stickers some people have came from? I want to "suggest" that those seats use that one coz the one theyre proposing has got nobs.

I think Id be interested, even if only as a way to keep my seats clean... whilst that logo is good, I think the SAU logo Ive seen on the stickers (the three red rings) is better. Please pm me when ur ready to buy.

what the **** is with SAU people?? it seems no-one works past 5 ?

bb, need to pull lining off from around the lock. couple of plugs. then there is a series of two (or three?) bolts which go out of the plastic panel and through the boot-skin. I think they're about 8mm (maybe 10s). once theyre undone comes right off. then BE GENTLE!

gonna do something like that, but I dont want to see the paint. I plan to try using foil to make the internal surfaces reflective.

the glue is like chewing gum. best to heat it back up to get it back together properly.

bambam, the glue in the middle is ****ing sticky and the clear plastic is pretty brittle. you just have to be REALLY patient with it, otherwise you'll snap the plastic.

I dont really like the way that light is at the moment. It's a bit too neon. Im gonna open it back up and fix it so that only the actual letters light up. stay tuned bambam take it off the car and then gently pry apart using a heat gun or a hair dryer (or put in front of the heater) re: neons, some wiring is required to do switches etc, but unless you're a moron, it aint hard.

went past someone in an excel the other day. they had a ****ing bright green neon installed in the dash shining smack in their face. they were driving along wincing in pain. but they thought they were so cool.

Bambam, dont buy neons for inside the car. they're ****ing bright. get CCFL tubes (like coloured flouro globes) instead. About $25 from jaycar.
