yeah, those bluey white headlights look horn. taka sells all sorts of snappy tinty coloured ones green and purple. I think there is even a pink one. Paul, the lenses dont actually seem that dirty to me...otherwise that would be the first port of call.

neo, I think that the rule is that the beam has to be white. so if you hold paper in front of it it should light up white. that's what the guy from Welshpool Pits said at the rollaboyz wankfest. niz, 1. buy heatgun. 2. remove panel. 3. apply patience 4. apply heat 5. apply prying force. 6. repeat steps 3 through 5 as necessary. note step 3. 7. buy blue trailer light from marlows 8. wire up blue trailer light only to discover that it looks shithouse 9. buy cfl globe and cff board from jaycar 10. break globe in half trying to thread wires 11. somehow dream that you can stickytape a flouro light globe back together using pvc tape 12. wire up board without thinking 13. fire up board and sticktaped globe 14. swear when the capacitor in the board explodes in your face and temporarily blinds you and burns your arm 15. go back to jaycar 16. this time, be very gentle with the brittle globe and wire up correctly, taking into account the prescence of red and black wires on the board. 17. wire switch inline. 18. discover switch is wired the wrong way around. 19. curse and tell yourself that you dont give a shit. 20. put it all back together. note: items 7 through 15 are optional.

my normal driving headlights are pissweak. Like "i cant see sfa" sorta pissweak. bought 100w normal type H1s from marlows yesterday and put one of them in before noticing that they say "only use 55W H1s with poly headlights". so: 1. are the 100w globes ok to use (they dont even really seem any brighter ffs), or are they gonna melt my wires or lights? 2. are the mega spensive bluey or extra white $50 type ok to use? are they any better? 3. are the $50 type ok to use off the factory wiring, or will I need to wire them diretly off the battery and use the wiring for the factory lights as a trigger for a relay?
