Im not surprised they had a crackdown this weekend. there was a cruise involving about 100 (somewhat) hipowered cars on friday night which drove along some of the busiest streets in perth. that;s enough to guarantee a cop heartattack. btw, a big f-u to the guy in the jacked up 4wd who thought it was a really good idea to do burnouts in the sand at teh fiirst stop.

Id be taking the car to the place that did the tinting I reckon. getting them to provide a written appraisal of the level of tint, which you can show to the guys at the pits. As far as the legal requirements, theres quite a lot about modification on the dotars and the dpi websites. I think the dpi site goes into tinting and stuff...
