  1. nah. not yet. I figure theyre probably pretty well deadened to begin with, and are not likely to be the weak link in the system. will install tha splits in the doors and se how they sound. If I get horriffic secondary resonance I will bitumen them (more). skylines in stock trim are pretty chock full of sound deadener though. cant see it being an issue..
  2. haha.... well. the blue tail light has become a comedy of errors frankly. Im awaiting a part from Jaycar, on thursday, at which time blue light will be go. as for hearing me from your house, the answer is : not yet, but its not far away. transfered "the array"from the front of my old car onto the back shelf, and have the 15 in a temporary install using tie down straps. got splits to go in the doors today. once that happens, i will fiddle the gains as best as possible and from then on its alll goood baybbeee!!
  3. hey neo. will change when I get everything as it should be. did the rear shelf fit-out in the last two/three days. Its ****ing awesome. indicative of the time invested into it.
  4. hey hey, anybody out there? has the lure of the buffsta become too much?
  5. red, I have been studying the (presumably) same set of stats for my work for the past 4 months. It turns out hat the vast majority of accidents in WA metro occur in peak times durin heavy congestion and are nose-to-tail type shunts associated with momentary lapses in concentration. these, however, are only rarely a risk to vehicle occupants in terms of fatality/serious injury.
  6. Ok, just had another look. to try and explain better. on the boot side, you have the battery and the HICAS. Im looking on the car side, underneath the shelf, in the corner - driver's side. its positioned on a bracket which is on top of the top of my suspension arms/damper adjustment doobies. four wires in - light blue, red, black, and orange (I think?) looks like it's inline with the speakers or the rear wipers??
  7. paul, Im the same. once I spew, my body just shuts down. though, usually once Im at the point of spewing I have consumed a preposterous amount of alcohol.
  8. shit. Its such a little box. It cant actually be useful can it? There's the same frame on the other side, but witout a box. Im wondering if it's not somthing for power seatbelts or suchlike. its about 150mm x 40x40
  9. hey niz, that is a killer-cute piccy of you. it even looks like you. just littler.
  10. hey teem, how fairs ye? happy easter btw. I need a little help if possible.... anyone know what the little silver boxes in the aluminium "frames"are in the rear corner of the car. I have only one, on the drivers side, and its in the corner on the CAR side of the boot. four or so wires into it, but im relctant to pull it out until I know what it is. need the space for speakers!

  16. whoah! russ you said bad stuff. if you say it out loud it will ruin the mystery and excitement!
  17. paul theres a bit more going on than just a bleeder in your 'bay. thinking about grabbing one of those hybrid ebc for $300 odd. figure its gotta be a shitload better than a pneumatic valve. adrian yeah, fmic to come in time maybe. budget in the short term may be moredirected at restoring the sanctity of ridiculously loud music to my travelling roadshow. might be getting a truck core cut down REAL cheapin the not too distant future, but that's the only waymy budget could justify the expense. besides, I get the feeling that fmic doesnt really make that much difference when you've only got limited boost capacity ot of the standard turbo.
  18. nite neo. nite russ. question re: increasing boost. I figure ive currently got about 9 psi going with pod and complete exhaust. How much quicker is the car likely to feel / be with 12psi and adjustment of the HKS AFR?
  19. paul. dude, I take it your marks were pretty good. they usually dont let you lecture with just a double degree!
