  1. I'd have to say that im very impressed by those early portraits. However I do agree with earlier posts which state, that it won't be a true gtr in the sense. For one, our iconic car is going global, which means it will most likely be tailored to suit American tastes, and for the first time, they are going to slot a VQ V6 under the bonnet. I don't know about you, but working on the twin turbo arrangement on that thing would be an expensive nightmare. Look at what people have gone through with those arrangements on the 350z. It looks like a fantastic car. To be honest though, I think it will go down as a fan boys supercar and not a diehard skyline fans pride and joy.
  2. Silver gts-t I chipped my stock ecu myself. Its quite easy to do if you know anything about electronics. I just socketed the ecu, then programmed a new eprom chip on my eprom programmer. Its not the best tune. I just changed the settings for injectors (550cc), the afm (z32). Im running only 10psi, so i haven't messed around with the fuel maps to much. I've added abit more ignition timing and it seems to go fine. When I eventually put the new turbo in I will have to redo the fuel map. Its quite expensive to get your ecu chipped by a dynotuner. So if you have access to an eprom burner i suggest you get your car dynoed, have the settings put on a disk and then burned onto a chip by yourself or someone else, you can save mega $$$ this way.
  3. I'd stick with the stock ECU, just get it chipped. Worked great for me
