Just moved to a place in Itabashi-ku, Tokyo this week. Plan to look for some IT work and stay for about a year or so (if i can find work) and hopefully improve my Japanese skills. Was actually born in Osaka, but left Japan at age 3 so my Japanese is pretty bad... Probably should've sold my skyline b4 coming over here, but just couldn't do it, so it's probably rusting away back in Melbourne. Don't really know anyone in Tokyo yet, so wouldn't mind catching up with any of u guys in tokyo if u ever feel bored... kaz.

Whitline Handling pack installed + front Camber kit
kaz replied to ferni's topic in Suspension, braking and tyres
i used Compuline to get a handling pack put on my gtst a couple of months ago and they seemed ok to me. I needed the front camber kit too, so i got them to replace the rear camber kit in the handling pack with the front one. (didn't really have a big camber problem in the rear). I was pretty happy with the result. -
GTR choking & surging for first 3 minutes
kaz replied to Penfold's topic in Forced Induction Performance
not sure if it will be the same for ur car, but there was a flat braided earth wire joining the catalytic converter to the car body(not the temp sensor wire), which had come loose on mine. Once this was connected up properly, the cold surging/choking prob went away. Not exactly sure why, but I was told that the earth wire affected the function of the o2 sensor. -

i had a similar prob too and thought it might be the 02 sensor, but turned out it was due to a loose earth wire near the CAT. -
