  1. As the Forester was me, thought id say hello. We got a 14.20 with a 2.045 60' Slower than my old 'line .... for now
  2. So its a bit like our rexes with a big sun roof?
  3. As your all here... Does anyone know where i can get my FMIC insured? :headbang: Now that the obligitory joke is out the way, :singer:Too much anger is generated by miscommunication. Please remember ppl that in normal communication between humans, words only make up about 10% the rest is tone and body language. Now most of you may have noted that this 90% can't really be used in a forum (apart from Niz and Sneeza coz i have hidden web cams ) Therefore can I suggest ppl rely on smilies more? All too often i have seen something said and then backtracked by "oh i was joking" or "being sarcastic." If you are saying something in jest. Make it so with a smilie. Make sure that your meaning cannot be misunderstood. BTY Liz, love that top Regards n older Lurker... G.
  4. well, so far it is thumbs up. The clutch is an on/off switch the ride is harsh, but both due to mods to make it go i guess. Gotta adjust my driving. But bloody hell, it likes corners The long leg thing i can guess at. Maybe its the jap spec box but the whoosh of turbo lag is punctuated very quickly by gear changes. Seems much quicker than the line had. All in all... loving it. Being a pomme and coming here in late teens I have been brought up in a hot hatch culture. This is not a hatch i know, but very close. That whole small nimble thing. After all, getting a line sideways, you notice its a big car real quick Stilll.... watch this space....more info to follow.... ebc.... ecu....
  5. ..is always a phrased heard all the time. Well, after selling our Skyline, Em and I thought we'd find out. So, in following R34 and Imaccul8's footsteps i'd thought id show some pics of our weekend purchase. Yes...its a rex. 1998 for those wondering... This does not mean we don't like skylines, just thought we'd see what the fuss is about So far it has: big exhuast Lowered King springs sitting on 18' rims Jap spec Gearbox and rear diff. 9 button/puck (something) clutch air pod Dual piston front brakes Anti-lift kit Front Strut brace STI intercooler sitting in the living room (no it won't do much there but will get to car soon) Ken's given it a onceover... didn't say it was TOO bad. Apart from being the next step to a commowhore wagon Very addictive exhaust note Please still be nice to us
  6. Me n the wife had a look yesterday eve. Looks sweet, Brembo brakes.. big fat black painted i/c sticker price was indeed 49,900 if anyone gets it can i go for a ride?
  7. Yes, Emma and I have let our child go to what i *hope* is a responsible owner.. It did have 400hp once but i woke up but the 270rwhp was accurate on SST and PSI rollers. Be nice to Jimmah, coz if he does a buffy then he'll have to answer to me *runs away before Miko reads this * Been offered $2000 for a wrx? what you guys think?
  8. We used 2 doors at our wedding. Ours on the left, Skyzerr33 in middle and mickos GTR on right (thanks fellas!)
  9. Actually yes. In your post you have admitted to speeding. Yes it was only a small amount and the cops where civil i'm guessing. The point some people are making is that it is not very quantifiable. It the cops were not civil , how would you feel if your speeding was deemed as strike 1? Unjust? - could well be.. Personally I'm all for driver training and lower road tolls, but lets find a better solution than one policemans (or woman) opinion who may be having a bad day
  10. $53.20 for an examination. I was just there... Ba5T#$%ds
  11. Troy is almost right. We were looking at a Focus... But we have found something a bit better for our money. No turbo... but "symetrical four wheel drive"
  12. Thanks boys for your ...encouraging words. no... its not really an upgrade. Going self employed and need work car. And as perftect as the line is, practical and low running costs are the order of the day. I'd say what i'm getting but it would be like swearing
