drill it out.. then never put the cover back on.. you dont need it. and with it off the coils stay cooler! =)

i did this to my car.. =) when i got an aftermarket BOV. i pulled it appart and added a spacer inbetween the spring and piston to make the spring tension harder. so on really hi boot it would open and on low boost it would flutter! =)

hmm i sware a little wile ago i had seen some on here.. i think if u cut the thermos down i might just get the clearance its gonna take alot of chopping.. i donr know what eles to try... i cant fit the standard shroud back in cuz the radiator is too thick!

been searching and seaching cant find any.. found some SR20 ones.. but no skyline ones.. im trying to install some Ba thermos 2 my R32 skyline.. but the power steering pump line sticks out crazy.. i want to know what you guys did to get around this issue? And lots of pictures of your thermo setups! cheers

im looking for a non genuine low temp thermostat. like the NISMO ones.. iv hurd of them before.. i think it was a dayco brand but i cant find them anywere? dose any one klnow where to find one OR the partnumber for one? let me know please!

+1 for turbotech manual boost controller.. never had a spike in both my RB20 and RB25.. all other electric boost controllers spiked like crazy.. turbotech uses the Spring and ball.. no bleeding of the air! iv alwaysed used them in my drift cars there awsome. set your boost and never touch it again!

yeah i tryed to fit it but i onl have about 1 cm clearance from radiator 2 engine fan.. i know it sucks!.. i have also hurd BA thermos are even better? i didnt think of the power stering line getting in the eay... i guess ill have to cut a whole there or something? would be good to hear from some one who has done this mod before!

hey guys... just been looking at replacing my clutch fan because after doing my radiator upgrade.. i can no longer fit my fan shrowed.. bummerr ay.. anyways iv tryed searching and cant find much at all. whats the differance in the two types of thermos? i know the AU has offset fans and looks to me like 6 blades. the EL EF has 8 blades? duz one flow better then the other? or duz one fit better then the other? whos dun it and whos got some pictures to show all of us! ones i get some information im going to install and take heaps of pics on the way for you guys! well they seem to come with 12 month warranty i think its worth a stab! i might buy one and let you guys know what its like!

i know the sounds =) my RB20 had this scream when coming on boost! turns out it was the gasket between the Turbo and the Exhaust manifold it had blown out.. and you couldnt really see it.. when looking for the problem i saw a little tag slightly hanging out when the gasket should have been. when i pulled the turbo off.. the gasket was f**ked! replaced it.. and all good! hope this helps!

boost creep sucks! on my hks 2530 on my old RB20.. ihad a split dump and boost creep was crazy.. i pissed the split dump pipe off and got a nice 3.5" made by an exhaust shop.. all under 200 $$ and now no more boost creep! the problem was the wastgate flap would hit on the small split pipe and wouldnt give it enuph room to open fully to hold the boost!

not every one has 1.1k to spend =) so some have had good run with these and others havnt? would like to hear some more from others about these?

i was assuming all of the chinese copy manifold were coming from the same factory? as none of them are stamped or anthing? some just polish them up or powder coat them.. are the ebay one just the same?

been looking at the Greddy copy plenums.. iv had a read of a few topics and no one seems to say much bad about them? question is anyone got one? did you notice any difference? and duz anyone sell them on these forums? cheers

Hey guys i tryed a search on the forum and didnt find anything, i brought a Brand new Exedy 5 puck Solid center button clutch. on my last few laps of QR i found when i put my foot on the clutch it feels spongy not like a button clutch anymore... more like a normal clutch!?!?!? this car hasnt had much street driving as its just a track car. is this clutch f**ked? or could there be another issue with the clutch peddles and the gear in between the peddle and the box? any help would be great, Cheers,

thats prob the best idea.. i think i want to change the thermostat for peace of mind just so i know its been done. after reading a few post looks like the standard Genuine nissan thermostat is the way to go maybe with the bleeder clip chopped off lol..
