Well if you're breaking a law then surprise surprise you're doing something wrong as well....You might not agree with the law, but its still the law....and its still up to you if you want to risk it...the larger fine and demerit points will make you have a serious think about if its still a risk you want to take

lol. Why would it need a 10 minute break every 200kms? What do you think you're dealing with here? It's a car. its built to be driven. It does not need a break every 200km...its not a person running... The turbo will pretty much be inactive for the entire trip once on the highway, unless you choose to use it, or are unable to control your speed (ie can't drive properly)

90% of joe public can't tell the difference between a GTR and a GTS-T anyway, so personally I wouldn't read too much into your post...

After so much mis-information I wanted to find out for certain what these were.

At the very least I'd be getting the knock sensors checked, and staying off the accelerator to speed up in 5th gear... The tune might need some work (I know mine does ) so I don't give it any in 5th as I know it'll knock...

I love how people go on and on about how superiour Jap cars are to everything made in Aus, yet I've read so many of these 'will my car make it' threads.....Its not a race car, it will be absolutely fine, other than random shit that can happen to ANY car....

the check engine light will come on to indicate knocking/pinging...its not good. The factory warning is set to come on at 60, which is pretty high...tuners like to keep it under 20 when tuning aftermarket ECU's If its only happening in 4th or fifth gear, I'd say you're in the wrong gear to be accelerating that hard at the time, and putting too much load on the engine. if you were to drop back to 3rd and accelerate that hard, chances are you wouldn't get the knocking as it sounds like your car is fine the rest of the time.... Have you got an after market ECU and a tune? or still on the stock ECU? Either way, its not good, so I wouldn't keep doing what you're doing...take it somewhere and get it checked out
