  1. yeah i would love to have a rb30 but now u see reason why lol
  2. well problem in the us, is finding contacts to get you the blocks, so guys in us fly to aus, meet people, and supposedely find a couple blocks, than fly to us and arrange to have them shipped and thats part of markup, i know 2 people with rb30 one got a rips motor, and other i believe was a 2k block he got from a local rb shop. i wouldnt mind a neo head and rb30 block but its just so damn expensive. just for shits and giggles whats average price you seen for a rb30 block and tell me zip code and i wiill calculate shipping just to see how much markup there is http://www.rawbrokerage.com/Nissan-RB30-Sh...m?categoryId=22 thats from a reputable shop with out shipping
  3. sadly i think i will never achieve the 3 liter status, if my stroker 2.7 dies, i am going neo and calling it a day lol, i would love to get a rb30 though the two i have seen were ridiclous.
  4. bump any thing guys i cant finish my wiring without finding out how people did top feed on their rb25 and resistor, i have an idea but i cant risk my ecu / inj
  5. a block in crappy condition in the us goes for a minimum of 1k in the usa, they average around 2k not including machine work, belt, headgaskt, gaskets, and yadda, bare minumum is 5k for a 3 liter block to be operational in the us, i would just do a 2jz...
  6. i have 2.7 stroker on my rb25, i jused rb26 crank, and after market 26 rods, and 88mm wiesco pistons. with vct and slightly higher compression its not too shabby, i raced my buddys rb30 (from RIPS) and man that thing had torque, but i wasnt tuned for the meth i was spraying so that was a factor too lol, i have a holset hx35 and it spools decent enough.
  7. this is awesome how do u think this would work on a rb25det series 2 ? or if i changed inj plugs to rb26 plugs (top feed)
  8. i was looking for a post like this, basically i should run 1.1 mm gap on my new plugs copper ngk bkr7e, i got a haltech ecu and holset hx35 with meth, and more gap is better
  9. if u google castlemain rod supercharge rb30 u can find info, i seriously contemplate this with a 4agze super charger from toyota ( its self sufficient) for oil and just fabbing up a airbox with inlet for turbo and supercharger, than having it wired to a rpm activated switch (its a clutch based supercharger) and place it right where the ac compressor went, hardest part would be aligning the bolts and mating it to ac bracket http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-91-97-P...sQ5fAccessories thats the unit, minor wiring fabbing, and belt work ( lets say 1000 if u can do it your self) .....of course nothing is that ez
  10. i daily drive my car with a Labonte Meth kit with a m4 nozzle, i have 1000cc inj and a holsex hx35 it sprays right before the TB, it make my car super rich since i havent retuned for it yet, but its pretty cool, i got low level indicator, and i have light for when it sprays, a huge tank and the solenoid. I use washer fluid (peak) and no trouble yet. i have it set to spray when i go over 10psi with my retune and the meth i hope for around 550hp on my built rb25. i drove it for easily 3000 miles with 0 hiccups outside of being super rich
  11. Hey guys, i am redoing my entire wiring harness and i ran into a small problem. Here goes, i have a series 2 rb25det engine harness, and i changing to top feed injectors and low impedence ( i am using a gtr resistor) well first problem is with my changing to top feed i have to change the plugs. On the sidefeed its clearly obvious which one is power and which one is ground. One is thicker and gray thats the same on all inj (ground) and the other has a single silver dot and is thinner (power) (I assume!!) now for the top feed plugs (which were cut from a rb26 harness) the two wires look to be same gauge, so i am not sure which one is power and which one is ground, and on top of that they all have differant colors, the only identifying mark is one has a single silver dot and the other has two silver dots, i assume liek the side feed rb25 the single dot is power ? or maybe if i had a way to orientate the rb26 plug i could know like if plug is facing me the right one is power and the other one is ground. Now i am at my second problem.... I am also wiringing a resistor in. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Gt...s+1+to+series+2 this website shows how to do it, and i noticed something just now... that he cut the single dot wire and that that goes to the resistor, so i kinda answered my own question but i will take any input. now back to my question. i know from the resistor there are 7 wires, 1 12v power and the rest are pwr to injector, does it matter which wire from resistor goes to any injector it does it not matter, since stock ecu is sequential firing i would think it matters but idk... i just found out they are not cyclinder specific on the resistor, so thats good. but i am back to main question of changing plugs. ( i did not delete the updates i got when i made this post because it might be helpful to someone reading this in future) i can take pics if anyone needs clarity
  12. http://www.superstreetonline.com/featuredv...x/photo_16.html thats pic of the ACTUAL commander
  13. ITEM: Rb26 PFC, rb25/26 harness prewired for s14, coilpacks many xtras!! PRICE: 1500 SHIPPING: yes, anywhere DESCRIPTION: Ok i am selling a complete Rb26 / 25 Electrical solution for a steal of a price. First A near new Apexi Power FC D Jetro, with the handcommander that has been modified to have a blue backlight instead of the green one(baller...). Next is a complete Rb26 Harness prewired for a S14, i am including with this a set of working coilpacks, the injector resistor wired into the harness, and an external rpm activated switch so this harness can be used on a rb25det. There is also a Z32 PTU (ignitor) pre wired in so no need to get costly ignitors anymore, and finally a Q45 MAF which is an upgrade to the stock one. This harness is plug and play for any s14. Finally as an xtra goodie i will throw in a HKS DLI I harness, so if can get a HKS DLI all your ignition problems will be solved regardless of HP(btw the supplied coils work 100%). To Simplify all of that. Its a Harness that will work on rb25 or 26, with an upgraded AFM, ignitor, and resitor and included coil packs. An Apexi PFC Standalone with modified hand commander. An HKS DLI HARNESS (not actual DLI but useful if u get one), and finally as a last bit of good faith i will unclude two Rb26 02 Sensors for the harness. I was currently using this on my RB25 with topfeed inj but i changed harness since i tucked my new one. This is a steal i am only asking 1500 for all of that, the standalone is worth 1000 alone and the labor on harness is 400 not including the actual harness ( which is around 400), and i am giving you coils, dli harness, q45 afm, 02 sensors, and prewired ignitor upgrade i am not really trying to part out, i am OBO on price and open to trades, but i wont be underhanded, if i trade i need kouki front end parts (lights, hood, fenders, radiator support, bumper support, radiator) or some rims that look nice and clear z32 front and rear brakes. i can be reached at 732 552 1467 or email [email protected] i live in NJ, and i will cover the shipping cost. i have an apexi avcr i will throw in the mix too for 200 dollers if you buy the entire setup... the avcr is in tip top shape and all parts included its in near mint condition !!! (this cost 400 new !!!) CONTACT INFORMATION: NAME: Carlos J LOCATION: Where is the item located? EMAIL: [email protected] AIM: stricnynel0s PAYMENT OPTIONS: Any, or Trades for S14 Kouki Parts or Rims
