  1. i use de-solder braid and then use an impact driver with a phillips head fitted.
  2. ill have the CAS if head buyer doesn't want/need it. inlet pipe and filter gone as per telephone today. let me know when its ready and ill give you some address details. thanks mate. Guys the current retail on just the Tomei buckets is over $750!...the total on parts alone excceds the asking price...so essentially you are getting the bare ported head for free.
  3. i intall these controllers but i suggest the airfare and accom. charges would make it out of the question to do yours.
  4. im in Brisbane for a few weeks...missed this event. Probably not much there to tickle my tail anyway. Would have been good to see Mick and Russ though.
  5. its a 1.5hr job for an experienced operator. thats what it took to do mine in the car. but its a 32
  6. not correct...we put bigger cams in one engine along with a few other tricks and it came on 1000rpm earlier. A few other notable engine builders who have done lots of R&D have noticed the same. my old HKS GT-RS fed engine did the same...went from small cams and mild porting to big suckers and big port job and the thing was mega responsive and made stacks of power...it had a flat line of torque for 5000rpm...looked like a V8's curve on the dyno and left Jim at CRD wondering if the dyno was playing up...lol
  7. looks to me like excessive timing at peak torque while using 93 unleaded.
  8. you really didn't need to post that....we know.
  9. its "ill keep racing but this is going to remain with me for a long time"
  10. Marko you need to put "ill keep racing but" in the approprate spot in the quote in your sig.
  11. same...i pick and choose my work...i wouldn't want to do it...easy. my time is limited so i dont intend on running a business and taking a full on commitment. Its a hobby that i enjoy...helping a few guys out with stuff is about all im prepared to do. Any hassles with turning it into a serious venture would really suck and any more time away from my family than i spend now is not an option. for the 3rd time...contact Dom Rigoli he comes well recommended by me.
  12. ill take the lot...pm me if this suits. im in newcastle but can arrange sydney pickup
  13. The only way it would happen is id have Marko fill out a build sheet that could not be altered and his username be suspended until it was complete...lol no im not doing it. Marko ring Dom.
  14. Great suggestion...Marko call Dom. Tax deduction?...lol...you must be kidding?
  15. Another Vi-PEC customer eh?
  16. i have a handshake warranty...you fu(k it...its your issue...i fu(k it...its mine.
  17. Thats basic fundamental machine and fitting work Marko. so why the sudden change of heart? Id do it for you but your indecision and procrastination would kill me.
  18. $10 postage could have it here overnight.
  19. pipe spanner, you have to loosen everything but leave them connected and then completely undo.
  20. Your engine builder asked you to confirm what he believes...is he for real? made 60kw more with cams...but also 6psi more boost, id say a higher rev limit, different fuel, different dyno operator and probably different atmospheric conditions. Not really that surprising.
  21. it will get you 400kw without head porting Marko. My old near stock 26...467KW...2530's...260 9.15mm tomei poncams. This was the old engine that was all Nissan except pistons, rod bolts and camshafts. Pick your rev limit and buy the biggest lift cams for that duration. Any cam with a BC smaller than stock will require shims and or thicker buckets and or offset retainers. Who is building this engine?? Shouldn't you be directing your questions their way??
  22. Andrew, you need to modify the inside edge of it to fit...ill take a photo of how we did mine if you like so you can copy it. Nice work too...as usual you have an awesome car that has been analy modified.
  23. ahh yes...ill call him now.
  24. Ive got 40litres of e85 in my garage still.
