  1. For such a limited number , We Aussies sure like our super cars. I now know of 2 in this country. some one asked whats a N1 Nuremberg edition Don't quote me, I read somewhere yrs ago Nissan buying back some GTR's and completely And I mean completely to the smallest detail, reconditioning a car from ground up to produce a car as a special edition. Why?? because they were no longer being made, and It made them that bit more special.
  2. New engine oil and filter. both synthetic. filter low micron class, will be fresh for new owner.
  3. UPDATE. Infinti badge! , NO, it is a skyline.
  4. All good now apart from the dirty relay ( now fixed ), The other cause of problems was ageing battery. Battery had low volts after starting the car, it wasn't recovering volts well. The result, computers were throwing codes. Not now with new battery. The new battery is also physically larger 550cca, the old battery was rated new @ 430cca, about 30% increase in cca After searching sites for battery's, they quoted to suit 550, 400,one was only 350cca !!. Bosch was the 550 but didn't know of any local sellers. I decided to see what would fit in the space provided as there was plenty more room over the current 430 cca. lion 459B, its about 10mm shorter but wider and deeper and fitted fantastic. I had a spare adjustable battery bracket, swapped it over. just needed a larger pos+ post clamp, simple r&r. I also Recon the sound system has more grunt. A win win situation. Now that's sorted, the cars for sale, see SAU for sale section if your interested.
  5. Rego NSW, BDC70W. 6 mths rego. location WYEE , 1/2 way between syd and newcastle. 97500 ks on clock. 5 spd auto leather seats. bose 6 spk sound system. 2x remote locking keys. all the trim premium edit car came with etc new battery last week. very good tyres 80%. fluids changed, last year. about 6 k ago engine oil 5 k intervals & due again soon, synthetic engine oil penrite , and also syn oil filter ,ie filters much smaller micron than a std 30+ oil filter would. also have a couple new spare interior cabin air filters. 5ooo k old slotted & dimpled front rotors + bendix pads. new front lower control arms also about 5k old. external oil tranny cooler also installed by me 6k ago, when trans fluid was replaced with gen nissan fluid. I was going to keep this car, but now we need something bigger. very reluctant sale. usual wear n tear, overall in good condition. asking 15k ono, due to well maintained car not thrashed. mature owner. please p/m -- rules state no idle chit cat in adds, and I work night shift so p/m is a much better option. test drives include my winning personalty in the car with you, no one thrashes my car, not even me. yeah it can be pushed but there's is a limit. thankyou for looking.

CLOSER VIEW OF INBUILT CIRCUIT BOARD. NEAR TOP RIGHT OF PIC, THERE IS A ROW OF 4 RELAY, ONLY 1 & A BIT IS VISIBLE IN PIC . 1 OF THESE SHOULD BE THE THROTTLE CONTROL RELAY AS MENTIONED IN THE MANUAL.

  13. Got some pics to upload can't find how to do it on this site. (and I don't save my pics to the net).
  14. Again Thankyou for your input Scott. Battery podarea is clean as new now. I managed to remove suspect relay cover. Used some MAF cleaner, a quick blow with compressor. Re tested ok now switching as it should.lol Car now back together, started up fine. No mil, or lack of power. Restarted car 6 more times running through the gears in the car port, all good still. re-- previous post --Not sure If I want to try restarting whilst driving it's an auto gearbox. Off to work now. Did take some pics of it apart, will post up later. Thanks for the offer of spare part, true gentleman. cheers.
  15. Not sure if it's been flooded, it looks a bit to clean for that, I suspect grey importing cleaning procedures. but that is exactly the sorta fix been searching for. The relay in question is a sealed type, will have a play with it, it's only epoxy sealed. opps my mistake I quoted 6 identical it's only 4. Was hoping jaycar may have 1 but catalog says no. just finished power testing relays 3 good, 1 bad passing ohms open or closed. Now replace/cleanup relay. write down codes, clear em see what happens.asap.
  16. The obd reader only found knock sensor B1, that was December. I recon autel is ok as it had it listed in it's memory bank. as I said been away and hadn't had time to do anything till now. I did manage to access mil function a couple days ago and came up with the 2 codes, knock (not b1 just knock), and throttle relay. That said according to pdf manual 2006 version it has a throttle relay but stated in manual it's built into the fuse box ( beside the battery), call it something like epdm or rather. So trying to get to the bottom of it I removed the box yesterday. as it very easy to do this, actually made to be removed as a separate unit, unplug wires (noticed some minor pin/plug corrosion residue) and push 2 clips and slide out with no wires attached. yeah it sounds like alot of mucking around but its alot easier to remove assembly & check over than try and do it under the bonnet. remove relays etc, laying them out in same pattern on bench. then remover rear cover. then front cover simply comes away. Inside the box assembly there is also a double sided printed circuit board with 4 relays attached to it. so maybe 1 of these are the throttle control relay, these are not simply unplugged , more pita. all up 2 problems found. 1) some surface corrosion "copper oxide present" on a couple of pins and plug for lowest wiring plug assembly and on a relay pins 2) there are 6 removable small square "identical" relays, 4 pins, and 1 is testing differently to the other 5. relays part numbers G8VL-1A4T-v. testing diagonally opposites 198ohms and 0 ohms, but the 1 suspect faulty is giving readings on both diagonally opposites. humm getting there slowly
  17. F####### now it's gone into limp mode. And I can't seem to access mil by tapping the go pedal,( in a bit of a bind 1 may say). guessing go pedal sensor is at fault this time. lucky! I was about 1k from home when it happened, 1kph max for the trip back. max revs were about 1200, and then couldn't get up the drive way. ahhhhhhh
  18. Been trying to rest MIL but having trouble getting the right boot timing spot on. guess not holding my tongue in the correct position. Try again tomorrow.
  19. Ok pit stop has been cleared. noticed when pitstop message appears -- then I pressed enter nav button, it was cycling between 2 messages top left of screen. then I noticed in information page a similar messages. press nav enter again. a page appears with 4 slide scales on it. the slides when you press nav enter again can be reset to zero by nav toggle left and enter. then Itoggled down to next slide scale and continue to reset again. I reset all 4 scales to zero. started engine and pit message gone. Now I am laughing. But it wouldn't of happened without the input from others, Thankyou
  20. Thanks scott, take it the "front" wide band is the top a/f sensor?. Blocked injector was my first thought but pita to get at, hence putting it out there for another opinion. Humm no relay, wiring diagram is showing one in section PG page25, but not identical box layout to whats in my car. wiring dia show 15amp fuse and relay then throttle motor. so this is why I was looking at this. but to be honest it didn't make much sense about a faulty relay the car drives and not bad at that, and fair mileage about 10/100k. would of thought if a power relay for throttle was faulty it plain wouldn't of started & or run very badly etc.
  21. Soon as I finish typing I going to reset mil manually and see what happens. Mil is throwing 2 codes. knock and throttle control relay. The autel unit only picked up on knock code, but the relay code may be new as it recently had a flat battery, and low power may of caused it, fingers crossed, And have a look at jap menu see " If" I can work it out anyway lol. Thanks for the help gents.
  22. Ok thanks for that, No I don't have english conversion for lcd screen. Are you able to walk us through the steps any way??
