I've heard about this as well, apparently if you're able to see the light it veers off the road after a while because the 'ghost' crashes into the bushes. I indirectly knew 3 people that were killed along that strip a few years ago due to speeding - the car in question became airborne off the undulations in the road and collected an on-coming car. The idea of doing 180km/h along that road is so idiotic.

Have a look at doing rail transport, I know if you go on the Indian-Pacific they carry cars but i'm not sure if they do it for people that aren't riding the train.

Graduated Grey or Neutral Density filters - google it. Also look up the Cokin filter system as it's better for Graduated style filters rather than screw-on filters.

Crack out the 1/2 ND's for massive skies. I'd limit the size of the group too because it'll get messy real fast if you've got more than 8 cars.

If you've got Photoshop resize them to 800 x 600 pixels and they'll be much quicker.
