  1. Great time as per usual, big thanks to Ryan, Bec and all the SAU Vic team and volunteers for making it possible +1 on the Taco Baz comment, it seems quite a few people weren't stoked with the service. Must be time to try a new venue I'd say. Here's a couple of the pics Kate snapped, we didn't get a heap as it was hard to get her out of the car and into the cold http://www.flickr.com/photos/53087381@N08/...57624728331086/
  2. This thread is going down hill...
  3. Is this partner coming to DECA Dane? At least I bring mine along so she can go for rides and squeel. I know how you guys love having a squeeling passanger - side bar, I reckon Kate is gonna bags a ride in the STI. She loves the thing... pfft.
  4. Bahah then when people give you shit at the track and say is that your wifes car you can say yeah it is, and it's still faster than your shit heap (if it actually is..)
  5. Call me insecure but I don't think I could voluntarily buy a FWD hatch as a track car. not when you have so many other choices!
  6. You sound like a jaded lover, did you once get chopped by something 3S powered?
  7. It is but I'd rather a 33 purely based on looks, I know the 32 is lighter.
  8. Yep, if you wanted Toyota and turbo you'd be better of with an RWD Celica or a GT4 if you could get some weight out of the pig. SW20 is a boat and a real handful with any power on board.
  9. As a former 3S owner I can say that a straight drag between a 3S-GE and an SR20DE stock for stock shows the Toyota engine to be willing NA performer. Not as cheap to mod as the SR though and service/repair costs for the rest of the car are higher. I still say go Nissan, but couldn't resist chirping in about the Toyota offerings.
  10. Awesome! I wanted to see the blue beasty
  11. Thanks heaps Kel, no doubt I will be chasing you up at some stage to pick your brain Really appreciate the time put into the reply. Side bar: We're not married lol
  12. My thoughts exactly Military spec, I love it
  13. I had thought about that myself, I'm no electronics guru, I do work in IT though, and the tech behind it didn't seem that advanced.
  14. Interesting, do you think most of that comes from running the Terra stuff from the cars 12v system?
  15. I told my bosses at my job here in Melbourne that I'm leaving early so I can get home and do it Friday night =D It's my last day here so doesn't really matter.
  16. "if rallying is for you (which it will be)" love it lol Thanks for the input guys. Anyone here going to DECA?
  17. Hmm the Terra is a touch cheaper, has independent volume controls and has an output for recording. As an outsidere there are $100 bluetooth kits on ebay for motorbike use.
  18. and is he coming to DECA? lol
  19. lol what the I've wondered how crests are handled. Is a speed given to avoid lifting off or something? this aint dirty rally son...
  20. Der can't believe I didn't get the hairpin... derr derr OK Got the sweeper, what are the other common ones that aren't on the vandenburg samples?
  21. Me too I get the 1-6 notation for the most part, but what about some things like sweeping turns or hairpin turns how are they noted and called?
  22. current clubman terraphone and two full face helmet headsets would be 380 and will output to video cam, that's just through revolution I haven't looked anywhere else. How is the Graytronics a league above? What else does it do.
