  1. And we all know insurance is not an issue for you
  2. Yeah I originally wanted 17's for the same reason but came across my set of 18's with brand new Nankang Ultra Sport II's (235 front 265 rears) for $1200 total So i couldn't resist. Back to the topic though... Tempe sell cheaper wheels and tyres and as such the quality is not at the same standard as some of the JDM sets. Funk: You might be better off looking around for some 2nd hand JDM's f you're concerned about qiality/strength/weight etc. Good luck and show us pics when you get some wheels.
  3. Matt: I mounted a gutter avoiding an idiot with my Imupls and carefully inspected the rim and there was no obvious damage visible. (Side note: did you end up calling my mate about his insurance?) Xizor: Blah! Get something with Dish
  4. I'll have some pics if it will fit an R33. Cheers
  5. Yeah the chrome looks shit, mine are Shadow Chrome and the only blemishes are some slight gutter rash from the previous owner, otherwise they're fine. You DO get what you pay for though... Don't expect JDM quality rims.
  6. I picked up some Impuls second hand with wide rubber and for the money it was a great deal. These originally come from Tempe and I like the look of them personally, they are not the lightest rim or the strongest, probably not suitable for track work. Cheers
  7. Now now, play nice. Perhaps I had a very stuffed wheel bearing (we already know it was busted hence replacing it) but there was no way it was coming out with a slide hammer. If they come out easily for you, that's awesome and will save some time on the press. Everyone be advised that a slide hammer is apparently another option, at least you're all informed =D
  8. Just one to add to the mix, I had a hot start issue and random stalling with my RB25, it was a comob of dead o2 sensor and stuffed Cam Angle Sensor earth. Just some other ideas. Good luck
  9. Mmm. no spot for the snorkel so will pass, thanks for the pics, I'm sure they will help sell it Cheers
  10. very interested but bigger pics please! Also, pics of it ON a car?
  11. Pics don't work, interested in CAI setup, pics please
  12. Given the force required from the bearing press to get the parts seperated, I'd strongly doubt that you could do it with a slide hammer. You'd have to be a tank =D If you have got that kind of power with a slide hammer then awesome but I think a bearing press is a better, easier option There's also 5 bolts on my drive shafts, just for reference. Hope this is all helping someone =D Cheers

Cheers
  14. Look at you Mr Drag Strip, what'd you run? (PM) if you like. Will pass on the exhaust, not what I'm after. Cheers for the pics though.
  15. C'mon Dezz, you know the drill.. pics man!
  16. What exactly is included? Is there a loom and so forth? Have any troubl getting it tuned? What specifically does it control? Is it an SAFC style device (as in allows air/fuel mapping)? Had quick read of the UniChip site but it's a little vague and different models do different things. Cheers
  17. I can confirm it is 36mm. I did a tutorial on a Wheel Bearing replacement. HERE
  18. No worries, never any harm in having a go Shame you don't have a nice catback for my R33... then we'd be in business Cheers I think I'll go the price drop to $1100 too, that sounds better to me.
  19. John - Thanks but that's a bit lower than I was aiming for. As an example, a recent eBay Auction for the same unit sold for $865 and that was without warranty, port replictor or a bag. So I think that even $1100 is generous given the age, condition, almost 2yrs warranty, port replicator and bag. Feel free to keep offers coming people Would also consider cash + R33 parts, my sig shows what I'm after. Cheers
  20. Sweet, I've got a grease gun so will have a poke in there and see how we go. Cheers for tha pic.
  21. Yeah I looked at all that. So you can get your finger in under that grommet to get some grease in there? Does you go in behind the fork as in closer to rear of car or in front? Cheers
  22. Awaiting pics as I have started to get the squeek with the onset of colder weather, bleh =\
  23. I've done the gearbox oil bs before, here's my thread. Redline Box Oil Write Up Bottom line is, I bought the US Gallon bottle of the redline stuff (about 3.7L) and had some left over. Indicating around 3.3-3.5L's Capacity. That was done using a pump under the car and using he proper filler hole til the oil started coming back out. Good luck.
