Hey man was wondering when you'd poke your head in =D I've checked all the rods and bars, had it up on stands and the wheel off. The K-Frame needs to come forward 10mm, everything else looks and measures right. I just need some reliable measurements.

I've done a very quick and crude photoshop ob to show what I'm talking about using a pic of my car before it got its wheels. Although this is the same side in both pics, imagine that the 'normal' side, the first photo is the passenger side and the second photo represents the driver side. As I mentioned, the entire K-Frame requires an adjustment. I just need measurements from rim centre to rim centre from a straight series II. Disregard the height difference, that's just me and 1:20am and St Patricks Day =D Passenger Side Driver Side

Consensus tends to be that you don't clean Iridiums. I've just put mine in and won't be touching them for a while. If they're fouled you'd be best replacing them and working out why they fouled so easily and fixing that problem. Otherwise, you'll just keep going through plugs. You should replace them either way, the choice is really do you fix the problem then get some fresh Iridium's or disregard the fouling issue and just swap coppers omre regularly. Good luck

Hey guys, Need someone to do me a quick favour. I've noticed that one of my front wheels is off centre relative to the wheel arch (wheen looking directly at the rim). I did some measurments, middle of back wheel to middle of front wheel and got a 10mm discrepency. Found it to be the alignment of the K-Frame (well it's called that on a commodore - has your sway bar and front stabilizer bar connected to it). Fixing it is not a drama at all but I need some measurements from you guys. Can you please measure the distance between the middle of your back rim to the middle of your front rim and post it or PM me please so I know if I need to adjust one side or both. The car still drives and handles fine but now that I've noticed it, I see it very easily and plus it puts excess strain on the sway bar bush o that side. Victory! It was in the PO box when I checked on the way home, fitted that bad boy right there in the car park, feels so direct =D Question, where did people place the pattern sticker? I was going to leave it off but the local fuzz is quite adept at spotting mods on cars. On a recent check over the cop, who was a decent guy, knew to look at the boost solenoid, BOV, SMIC and so forth so I'd like to mount the sticker for legal reasons. I was thinking either on the ashtray door (can always replace the whole thing later if needed) or directly back from the knob, on the edge of the plastic surround. Ideas? Thoughts? Pics?! Recently got new wheels and tyres and waited til late tonight (went out the door around 12:10) to see how the car handles with the wider rubber and slightly higher ride height. Had a fine time and was happy with grip (need to lower it and get better suspension and a sway bar though), came hammering up the highway, not a car in sight, dodged a friggen sheep on the road at the top of 4th (car is stock aside from a POD) and thought ok that means time to go home. Straight lined a deserted round-about and then got pulled over and told i'll "probably be sent an infringment notice for 80km in a 60 zone" I asked to see the camera reading which he couldn't provide as he used the 'keep distance and even speed and wait for me to pull away then guess my speed technique' Which i know is legit as a mate of mine is a cop in another Vic town. I honestly have no idea how fast I was going, probably more like 90. I'm not disputing the fine at all I'm just annoyed as we all are if/when we get a speeding fine. I also understand that he's doing his job and that speeding is dangerous and especially near intersections/round abouts so don't turn this into a debate =D Just annoyed =\ I even waited til later when there's no traffic and it's quiet and used quiet out of the way roads =\ Driving as a hobby is hard soemtimes, there's not an abundance of track days at Winton either so that doesn't help =\ Anyone know what the going rate for 20k's over is $$ wise? Something like $200 or is it more? I've had two tickets 2-3years ago for minor less than 10k's over by accident speeding fines so points wont be a problem. Knowing the pipe diameter, whether it's mandrel or not and a price will help it sell =) I'm no expert but the pipe looks mandrel bent to me, anyone confirm or deny?

There seems to be some conjecture about whether or not to gap iridium plugs. I've got some on my desk and would really like to know =D I got the BKR6EIX-11's which as I understand have a stock 1.1mm gap, the recommended gap seems to be .8mm Should I be re-gapping these? The car is stock engine/performance wise just wanted these for longevity and this is my first service so wanted to be sure plugs were fresh.

Price on exhaust on the condition that it fits a Series 2 GTS25t, is it 80mm/3inch mandrel bent? Cheers
