  1. Can only kind a dyno sheet showing 116.2kW. Price drop to $1k. Cheap buying for all these bits! Dyno graph 21_05_05.pdf
  2. Also comes with manifold with VLT injectors...
  3. FOR SALE: S3 R31 Sedan Silver 5 pd manual (factory) Standard RB30 HR31 front struts R32 GTS-t 4 pot brakes Lowered Pedder Suspension all round 15" Alloy wheels Excellent interior Good exterior - couple of dents and marks. Paint is faded. Windscreen is broken and requires replacement for roadworthy etc. approx price for replacement is $250 so I have dropped price to cover this. Comes with modified RB30 head with large cam and modified standard computer to suit. Has made 120kW at wheels on 98. Good project car or spare parts / donor car. Unregistered. $1500 ONO. Can provide pics on request.
  4. Maybe mines a dud...? Uses more fuel than a 5ltr Monaro,5.7ltr SS and 6.0ltr SS. Even Holden cant explain whyit uses so much fuel... They have tried tuning, injectors, FPR, sensors, the list goes on and on... Doesnt matter how I drive, whether towing a trailer or completely empty I just cannot get fuel consumption down to reasonable level. Mines is very flat off the line, pulls OK to about 110ish and falls over after that... My RB30DE on the other hand...
  5. I have both... a VZ storm with 3.6ltr Alloytech and an R31 with RB30DE. Even on a basic running in tune the RB30DE is far more responsive and generally better all round than the Alloytech.
  6. It really comes down to who is tuning the car. Make sure your tuner is comfortable and very familiar with the ECU. Personally I like the Autronic. As good as a Motec, but without the huge price tag and 'pay more for more features' bullshit. Autronic has everything available from the get-go. Will the Microtech work with Nissan sensors, CAS, etc?
  7. The R32 RB25 head is the easiest head to fit on the RB30 block. All you need is an RB30 head gasket and RB25DE pistons and away you go. Well, pretty much... Bit more involved than that, but still fairly straight forward.
  8. I am using Nissan sensors with an Autronic SM4
  9. Refer post 5: New motor: RB30DE RB25DE Head GTR Inlet Autronic ECU Custom Exhaust Custom Cams Extremely modified head Autronic SM4 86kW at wheels @ 3000rpm. Currently rev limited to 4000rpm. Full tune in coming weeks...
  10. Not to piss on your parade but the power seems a little low for the work done... Being twin cam and four valve the cams shouldnt really be holding it back that much. Perhaps there is gains to be made with cam timing ajustment and more tuning? If it has GTR heads you should be able to fit bigger than 10.8mm lift cams. 10.8mm is usually the limit for the RB20/25 heads... I'm fairly sure you can get 11.5mm + lift to suit GTR head. This should work well with a high revving N/A motor.
  11. Hey mate, Nice work. Looking good. I recently built an RB30DE using 25DE head from an R32 with a modified RB26 6 throttle inlet to fit. Throttle response is unbelievable! I find myself rolling off the power just so I can nail it again. Havent go mine fully tuned yet... Only tuned to 4000rpm. It currently makes 86kW at wheels at 3000rpm (10BTDC and a little rich) so I cant wait to unleash it! Yours should be somthing along these lines too!! What compression did you end up with? Again mate, awesome work!!
  12. Thats a heavily modified GTR inlet on an RB25DE head. Rings are some sort of race ring I cant remember the brand though... Rods - RB30 Pistons - RB25DE mm of block - ? not much... mm of head - a bit! ECU - Autronic SM4 It also has an RB25 oil pump, large cams from Japan, custom exhaust, 444cc injectors, EVERYTHING that rotates has been balanced, head has been worked within an inch of its life!
