  1. Hey mate, I have no idea...however have you tried posting/asking on the r31skylineclub forums? Might get your answer a lil quicker than here mate, sorry bout that!
  2. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&id=135338 Search function is your friend (try in forced induction section of the forums) (thanks to swanny180 for the attachment )
  3. Steve000000000000 you big poof! Happy b'day!!!!!!!!!
  4. If you are worried about your first time out there on the track - maybe try and find some skid pan days first of all? Skid pan would be all wet and you really do get to learn alot about the car, how it slides, how it behaves etc and theres plenty of room if you have a "spin"!
  5. nice pics! I was expecting it to have paint and panels falling etc being a VN, but that is actually in good condition! wheres dorri pics?
  6. haha awesome work! yeah I wish now I got a wagon as my daily. Would make a good tow car also!! *goes to carsales.com* ps photos
  7. just starting out - use street tyres. You learn your limits and control with street tyres. Do that for a year or 3 then get some semi's on seperate rims
  8. and then the normal club events from the Bathurst Light Car Club
  9. yeah had Dave (T04GTAAAH) look at it, we changed wheels agai,n and no noise. although now when I engage reverse, and goto roll back, theres a "clinky" noise. happens everyime for reverse, sounds like Im running over and breaking something on the ground. Im starting to wonder, could my diff be giving up on me? I know it has been "open wheeling" on the track (bathurst hillclimb did it a fair bit) Time for a new diff me thinks anyway
  10. I want picks dammmmit!!! hahaha yeah those VN's are as tough as R31's! They can cop a hiding and just keep going! Some cheap and well thought out mods you have there also! If I had to replace my 31 - Id consider this option also! now photos please :burnout:
  11. hahaha exactly Duncan hahaha however for drifting and 'kana's - mine works a treat
  12. stock is 100% from factory - nothing changed Please correct your post as your car is modded
  13. Duncans advice rocks As well as being safe and learning you and your cars limits, you MUST have fun!! Its always important to come back in with a smile/grin on your face James and Albert - go some whiteline sway bars from sydneykids group buy and for the handbrake - meh, just get a drift button mine works a treat!
  14. I'll be down at summernats
  15. Abo bob spotted my rego plate but not on my car, I want it though "CHUBBS"
  16. You'll find most of the guys here aren't into that late night shit. Anyhoo, www.oranpark.com (3 lay outs, North, SOuth and GP) www.wakefieldpark.com.au
  17. smoky you big poof! happy bday!! love you!! xoxox
  18. ah good then!!
  19. Thats all I have ever had in my car James! My next mod/s with my brakes are... braided lines rear slotted discs more fluid
  20. any dot5 fluid is good for brakes! just need to bleed the brakes before you put it in Ive got some 350degree boiling point fluid in there! (I had a close call - last turn OP when brakes boiled....) other than that the oil and stuff should be as normal, its the frequency you change it helps/beneficial - i.e. more than a normal service period!! (I "try" and do it after every 2nd outing) anyhoo, all this talk of motorsport is depressing me! bye! oh, James - you'll just have to wait and see! Stephen - fatz has a group buy for larger radiators!
  21. Duncan, ah I mean do they have the concrete like OP with the ripples! But thats cool, I'll try and avoid it at that turn Albert - 2008 SAU NSW is hoping to have another Drift day Kitty litter/crud/grass n shit in the wheels somewhere perhaps?
  22. Eastern creek has a good skid pan for parking practice LOL @ swanny!!!!!11ty
  23. Albert, you hooked yet or what??? James, I have an 11 row cooler (and relocation kit) from performance wise which Nathan @ Grey Imports fitted
  24. really? 4th? Im 3rd most of that half of track! and thats a 54 sec lap on south circuit. But yeah, as John told me - dont be affraid of the ripples on the off corners (eg suttons - weight is all on the right side of car and ripple is on left) dam I really wish I went this weekend *cries* Duncan - does wakie have corners like suttons where theres concrete on the inside of the ripples? edit - good pointers there Duncan with gears and speed
