  1. i have used caltex 98 and i did notice that my car runs better and get about 30 to 50 km a tank more. by the looks of the report that azn-r33 put up ,it is definately better than bp 98
  2. missuses toyota lucidia (jap import of the tarago), turbo deisel auto and slow as a wet rag. gets good fuel economy and fits 8 people though.
  3. extreme 9 puck, 500 bux will handle up to 450hp but you gotta put up with the shuddering clutch syndrome.
  4. ive had the same trouble for about a year and a half now (since upping the power on the car). i put adjustable dampening shockies in to try control the axle tramp, mainly at the drags where you get better grip and more tramp, is it better to set them softer or harder??
  5. got the same problem. does it alot when reversing or taking off up a hill. i done a manual conversion and put in a extreme clutch. seems to make a bit of axle tramp when putting the power down too. i put it down to the clutch grabbing harder and faster causing a pulse (like a ripple) down the tailshaft.
  6. 256hp and 450k's per tank
  7. just bought one of ebay for 59.90 + 20 delivery, looks good. fitting it this weekend
  8. i cut out my active spoiler when i fitted my fmic and bolted it onto the bottom of my front bar. looks good i think, xept it scrapes on everything
  9. not a bad time, i think a stock auto r33 runs low 15ns to very high 14ns. looks like your 60' is killing you
  10. Could you please do mine ECR33024557 Cheers

whats anyones ideas on rebooting the computer (pull off battery lead, press brake peddle, connect battery lead) just done it after oil change and bit of a service and fuel economy has got worse would this affect my safc2 (i know this has battery back up). any ideas
  15. tink its another one of those some have and some dont parts. i got them on my s1 coupe, had to take to them with a saw to fit in my cooler but still work. and i have had a aftermarket dimmer switch fitted and also the park lights next to the head light were fitted for compliancing. looks like they were drilled out with a hole saw and lights fitted.
  16. only supra i saw was my mate, and the only thing i saw when racing him was his taillights, or him beeping and waving at me as he passed me 1/2 track

im about the same too. 450 to 500 a tank. last tank got 11.3l/100km
  18. well, only got five runs in, all crap. track was to cold and was overrun by commodores and some dam fast xr6 turbos. saw a lovely r34 gtr (purple) and and watched it pull some good times around 12.5's. didnt manage to get into the 13ns with a best run of 14.1 at 167 k's with a 2.5 60' but got some good reaction times from .200 to .003. few peple sitting at the beach on the end of the track(must of forgot where there brake peddle was). will have to wait till september for that elusive 13 (bugger).
  19. im going down to test out the new shockies and hopfully say goodbye to axle tramp and hello to 13ns . anyone interested!!!
  20. Bazr33, you should be getting way more than that, my PB is a 14.08, with a shitty start and axle tramp and im only runnin 190rwkw. better chuck on some better tyres and what that time drop well into the 13's. good luck
  21. they were second hand but only needed a bit of paint. still work fine
  22. and *always* check cost of postage, some gear maybe cheap, but they jack up the cost of postage. i had a win on ebay the other day with getting a full set of potenza ajustable dampening shockies with lowerd springs for $100.00 with $25 postage, but cost the poor guy $137 to send it to me. if you are out there know they have gone to a good home.
  23. i was reading the paper today and looking at some new whiz bang 2006 2.4l turbo with 190kw (at flywheel) getting a 11.2l/100k's as stated by manufacturer and 11.9l/100k's proven on road. i put that against my 1994 190kw (at wheels) 2.5l turbo getting a proven 11.2l/100k's on road(even better if i could control my right foot). why bother with gizzmos that do crap and cost the earth to fit. my 2 bob's worth anyway
  24. i got two cars, my skyline and a 8 seater bus (of course with a turbo as well). i only drive the bus if more than 5 seats are needed. so its my fun car and the family run around.
  25. i got a conversion and left the auto diff in, getting around 450 to 500 a tank. thats around 11l/100k's. from what i remember the auto diff is around a 4.33 and a manual is 4.11.
