  13. sounds more like centre bearing on the tailshaft (if u have a 33, not sure if 32 have) diff is more of a whine and i dont think u would feel it.
  14. just a quick question fella's can you use a centre bearing from a auto tailshaft on a manual tailshaft. I think the one i got with my conversion is kaput. getting alot of bouncing down the drivetrain and may be some of the problem with my axle tramp.
  15. i still got my s1 auto cluster, in exellent condition with just under 70,000 on clock if interested, and will be way cheaper than wreckers. dont know if you wanna try over east but i bought my conversion kit from import spares [email protected]. great guys to deal with, only you will need to courier it over(dont think it will cost to much)

  20. i just finished mine about 4 weeks ago with extreme 9 puck clutch, all up including sending parts from adelaide to perth $4700 including going over pits also if you intend to tell insurance company, the gearbox will be put down as a extra on your policy. once a auto, always a auto
  21. Here's a calculator for 1/4 mile times. not sure how accurate it is but I think it is pretty close. conversion is 2.205lbs = 1 kg so a skyline being 1390kg is 3064lbs http://www.robrobinette.com/et.htm
  22. Thanks for the info. found a calculator on the net and worked out at 13.3. A good figure to work towards
  23. jeese, 17 is a whole lotta air. sounds like it cooked from the inside out. im getting 190rwkw outta mine on 12psi and i know mine is stock. and a quick queston to 2rismo, we are running about the same power (with no nos) and all i could get was a flat 14. how the hell do you do that. best 60' was a 2.1sumthing but only got a 14.1 at 163k's(damn) not happy jan!
