Hey guys, lately my car started to "hunt" at hot idle, I suspected the stock paper intake gaskets were the problem so I changed them all to HKS metal items, Still did it abit so I wound the screw out of the AAC valve and all seemed much better, then today when I did a cold start it only reved to 1100ish when first cold, then goes to 1000at hot idle? Used to idle higher then slowly drop to 1000rpm Then I went to start the car after it sat for about 30mins or so and revs were very low hovering around 700rpm and needed to tap the throttle to bring it up, then it drops again, seems like its like this until it all gets to operating temp....weird So far took aac valve out and cleaned it Replaced intake gaskets with HKS metal items Don't have any problems with it idling high at all, never have Any suggestions? Put said fatz r33 n1 engine in, change over cams/cas and red covers Done

Got afew parts I need to get rid of: 1 x Tomei throttle coat - only used to seal my throttle body shaft seals, still has 98% left Perfect to sealing throttle body's if you have a high idle - $50 1 x Apexi black slim/pen type turbo timer - no scratches comes with complete loom, was in my r32 Gtr - $50 1 x RB26 timing belt cover - original black condition - $60 1 x r32 Gtr/gtst 3" cat back exhaust, mild steel with stainless rear muffler, made 330kw with this - $200 2 x sets of r33 rb26 coilpacks, worked fine with plugs gapped to 0.8mm - $60ea set 1 x stock rb26 boost control solenoid with hoses (still has restrictor in hose) - $50 1 x set of stock rb26 intake pipes (afm to turbo pipes) - $60 1 x set of NGK laser platinum spark plugs, PFR6A (these are the plugs Nissan recommends from factory) Done 2000kms tops, changed due to wrong heat range - $50 All items in Sydney, can post at extra cost Can also send pics if you want just PM me Thanks

Did this fix ur hard start/needed throttle start??

i went few weeks ago to drags with my new ku36 265/r18 tyres first few runs with 40psi in the tyres got 1.7x 60ft times, dropped them down to 28psi and was in the 1.6x 60ft times only 340rwkw good clutch will be needed to take the abuse

if for some reason you are not comfortable purchasing "tomei" rods, there are many other great quality conrods on the market ie: Nitto Scat carillo argo depends on ur budget etc

Great news !! Mine doesn't realy stall but it randomly hunts at idle at odd occasions for no reason I've got nismo afms but it may be worth re-soldering them I guess, see if it helps

If I've got a standard head with standard cams, are the mines a direct fit or will require some drilling/tapping to make them fit regardless?

Where can you get the mines baffles from cheaper then the hioctane baffles?
