  8. DMS Drummond Motor Sport 50 mm Coil Over Shocks and Springs. Set of 4 to suit R33 GTR and R34 GTR Comes with instruction manual and adjusting tool. These have both independently adjustable bump and rebound. Also these adjustments are on top of the shock so they are really easy to adjust. These are the high performance version in 50 mm not 40mm. These are in fine working order and low kms and I will sell these for $2,600.00 PLEASE PM me as I don't get a lot of time to check the forum. Or you can call 0419 897 983.

  10. Hi Re the options on wheels, I read the new regs and it does not say you can have option wheels so I am not sure you can. The other thing to remember is that if you run an option you need to be able to produce proof as per the regs. That proof must be in one of the formats defined in the regs. Just my thoughts, happy to see the rules that say otherwise. BT

These have both independently adjustable bump and rebound. Also these are on top of the shock so they are really easy to adjust. These are the high performance version in 50 mm not 40mm. These are our “spare” set and have only done low kms. These are tuned for Tarmac Rallying but are an awesome street setup with a great ride. These are great for street and competition and would only need different springs for really hardcore circuit racing on really smooth circuits. These are in fine working order and low kms and I will sell these for $2,600.00 PLEASE PM me as I don't get a lot of time to check the forum. Or you can call 0419 897 983.
  13. Please remeber these are twin progessive rate springs so you can't directly compare to linear spring rates. Fronts are 700 lb with 250mm free length. Rears are 400 lb with 350 mm free length. I have raced and setup cars for nearly 30 years so I'm no mug in this area. These work really well both road, rally and track both wet and dry and the only application that may need a spring change would be for dedicated track work. Even saying that these hold there own on the track.
  14. I will check them but I won't be back on the forum until Monday. As these are progressive you can't compare the rate to linear spring rates. Why do you want to know the rates? Are you inetrested in the shocks or just gathering info?

You don’t see these babies up for sale very often because everyone who’s got them loves them. These are the Tarmac Rally version. Not the street version. That is they are the high performance version in 50 mm not 40mm. These are our “spare” set and only have done low kms. These have progressive springs that give you a nice ride (but very “sporty”) around the street and awesome traction both wet and dry, but as you begin to push the car the spring rate rises meaning that it soaks up large or high speed bumps as well. DMS shocks are incredibly well built but if you need they can be fully rebuilt and services in NSW. The following information is from DMS promotional literature: Every DMS suspension contains a number of special features which set it aside from the competition. The technology behind DMS products was not merely influenced by a race proven design, but rather has become a race proven design. DMS Springs: All DMS products come with the same design philosophy: The best performance in all conditions, configurations and driving styles possible. DMS suspension units use a specially designed spring that is matched with the tune of the DMS shock absorber for race, rally or high performance driving. These springs cannot be constructed in a conventional method and require several specialised procedures in manufacturing. Incorporating within one unit a taper wire and taper wind design, there is no "dead spot" where the tender spring and linear spring would meet. This results in uniform compression and rebound rate that provides maximum suspension travel for best grip and traction, as well as having a strong spring rate necessary for motor sport or performance driving.   16. Hi Ben It's doubtful that I will run, time and other priorities. Besides I couldn't break my cycle 99,01,03,05,07! I think finally some competitors ideas are getting through and the new course would be great, just a pity it's not overnighting in Burnie. Goodness knows how everyone will get a bed on the West Coast particularly with the mining boom and the tourists. Better book soon. Yeah sflamin mongrelineering can be real interesting. I am still trying to figure out why my 3rd placed GTR got so much attention at the finish of last years Targa when a certain second palce GTR didn't get a look at at all. I guess it's who you know. Even SB played scrutineer and decided to check my car out under the bonnet with his mobile phone! I was told that he was doing a comparison but where is the sense in looking at Tony's R32 and my R33 and not looking at my R33 and the second place R33 as I suggetsed to them at the time, but they did not want to do that. Then when I came back down from the ceremony the "real" scrutineers where at it and every orifice was opened up again. Welll all that was said at the end of it was that the door linings needed to have fluffy stuff stuck to them for the new rules so in one way it was good to show that the car is legit as some people feel thay have to tell everyone it's not. Certainly there is a lot that could be checked on the cars. Instead of the minor stuff why not go for the real mods that have a major affect on performance. You can't tell me cars with 18' and 19" wheels are running std diff ratios. GTRs are overgeared to start with. Oh look now youve got me started again, better shut up or I'll upset some one. Are you guys going to do Rally Tas? I think this and rally of Burnie will really take off now LWR has hold of it. Have you got your car fixed up Duncan, that was sad in Fernglade last year.   17. For Sale 4 as new Dunlop Direzza DZ101 245/40/17 high performance street tyres. These are near new, under 500 kms use. Cost about $1600 a set new. Will let these go for $900 as I don't have wheels for them anymore. In Burnie, can freight OK. PM or better still call Brian 0419 897 983.
  18. Its a petty no body checks the Vspec for ceramic wheels. It's a bit of a joke that CAMs develops such lengthy rules then no body really enforces them and "some" orgainisers choose to look the other way with respect to "some" cars.

    Yeah you can run them but you can bet onyone who does is either slow or has illegal diffs. (Not that anyonew seems to check!) An R33 with tarmac rally legal engine gearbox is etc is not goiung to pull 18 x 10s.
