  1. I gave my spare to my missus... she loves it I use the other one in the garage to crawl around on the cold floor...
  2. Soooo what's different about it?
  3. Pretty sure it's the same size.
  4. If you have a GT2871, they're all worse then that... If I remember correctly, the series 2 turbo had a front wheel made out of some sort of polypropolene that made it lighter and spool faster, but I could be wrong... Either way, they're both pretty shit... Brittle exhaust wheels and tiny housings...
  5. yes it will reduce it, but it depends what kind of power you're aiming for... what's more important, is which sections of the standard intake piping you're planning on using. The rubber part just infront of the turbo can be sucked in on itself if there is too much negative air pressure. I've run a bar on my standard turbo and haven't found a problem, but the bigger intake on the 3076 would most likely cause this.
  6. The irony that it's called DNF is not lost on me...
  7. no, it has 4 door chromey headlights...
  8. What would the turn around be? How long between the time paid and the goods received?
  9. Pretty sure it's a 1.5. You have a series 1 body and interior with a series 2 engine/wing.
  10. Are they out of the car yet? Would like to see a pic just to gauge quality.
  11. Selected only. Please read the thread.
  12. I'm trying to remember how I did mine... I ran a lot of wires up the middle but I forget which ones basically, I kept all RCA and any power wires very seperate (i think)... I've never had a problem. My system is set up just a WEEEEE bit different to yours though... not a very good base for comparison at all.
  13. I might be up for it, providing quality can be assured.
  14. Crossovers will be fine. Do you have a spare set of RCAs? Even ones that aren't shielded? Like I said, once the RCAs are corrupted, without getting new ones, you're going to have a tough time getting rid of the noise completely, but you have to sort it out or the same thing will just keep on happening. What spec is the amp? And what grounds have you been trying? I would keep trying to find a good ground if I were you, maybe sand back some paint if it's stopping a good connection. What about your battery? What's that like?
  15. What he said ^^^
  16. Mine is a custom enclosure, technically, it sits where the spare tyre used to sit... I've never had one above the fuel pump but that seems to cause alot of people problems. You'll probably find as well now that your RCA cables have been penetrated by the power and are creating noise, they will not shield as much anymore. Weird how it works like that but I've seen it happen a few times... Can you ground your RCAs in any way? Normally the good ones have an extra cable running with them that you can ground to help minimise noise. Here is a pic of my setup, completely useless to you, just thought I would share Clicky!
  17. Best guess would be to move it away from the fuel pump. Are your RCAs running with any power wires?
  18. I'm thinking of new members... ACTUAL members who come here and have something to say... could you say it in 2 posts per day for 5 days Mr 24 thousand posts??
  19. That's a bit rough! Why don't you just make it 5 so they can't do it in one sitting?
  20. Sorry for bumping an old thread, but is this the reason I'm seeing several new members a day with only 10 posts making completely useless and pointless posts? Is it just so they can PM?
  21. Last time I checked (and every mechanic has told me this, but call one up and ask for yourself cause I don't want to be the cause of more trouble) you can drive your car after those 3 days, but ONLY to a workshop (normally the closest possible one), and only if you have an apointment, so call before you go!
  22. Oh you lucky bastard! Well done mate!
  23. It's rare but possible. Most people just take them off, it's only one bolt. Drove one on the weekend without one on there and the rear windscreen was all foggy and icey... that sucked... It does look better, but it's such a small thing that I don't personally think it's worth it...
  24. Probably. I have to have a garage sale soon cause I'm moving and really don't want to take it all with me. But if you're swapping out the core, maybe you might want to look for a busted one? My one is in top nick and a busted one will be cheaper too...
  25. magnets for the fuel lines big wing vortex generators gauges vinyls neons etc but seriously, your next step is probably a decent ECU (sounds like you have a piggy back or something) and then start sorting out the intake cause the standard R33 intakes are shit!
