  1. I had the same problem with mine. did all the usual, springs, shocks (rebound and bump), tyres, pineapples in all positions, UJ's etc - no real change. Bought some Nismo HD engine mounts, 98% fixed. Still tramped a little but not the horrible banging in the rear and box. I know it sounds crazy but it worked for me. J
  2. Guys, Have a Q45 AFM for sale with plug, clean and excellent condition. Sell for $280 ono but would prefer swap for good condition Z32 AFM with plug. Please PM if interested. Regards, Jeremy
  3. Just been on the phone to Peak. They often source their finsihed product from Singapore, but the chemist said their 98 is sourced from a Mobil refinery and is the same spec as the Utimate. I assume Caltex is sourced from one of their east coast refineries but I have not been able to confirm this. All other WA ULP comes from the BP refinery in Kwinana except that inported from Singapore and other states by smaller companies such as Peak, Gull etc.
  4. There is maybe a dozen Peak and 3 or 4 Caltex atm with more to come. Best go to www.fuelwatch.wa.gov.au and search on 98
  5. Hi All, Was on the Fuel watch web site today and have found that both Peak and Caltex are now doing the 98 RON in Perth. I thought I should pass this on to all as it may be more convenient than finding a BP.... Happy motoring. J
  6. Thanks for the info. Much appreciated
  7. Hey all, I have bought a Q45 AFM for my RB25. It is fitted with a GT2540R Turbo. Has anyone fitted one yet and can you tell me what adaptors or changes are needed fpr the plumbing from a stock AFM. Wiring I have sorted already. Regards, Jeremy
  8. Hi, Had a similar problem on my much modified RX2. I had installed longer studs with a different bolt PCD. The long and the short is that the taper where the nuts seated in the rim was different to the taper on the nuts. Therefore when tightening the nuts the tapered end was forced narrower causing that part of the nut to bind on the stud...check the tapers and compatability of the two tapers. Regards, Jeremy
  9. Guys, I have an R32 GTS-t with an R33 RB25 and 5 speed transplant. I have had the rear uni joint in the prop shaft fail and it is not replaceable. Therefore I can buy a second hand one off a GTR which uses CV joints instead of uni joints. Has anyone done this? Do I need to change the flange on the diff pinion?
  10. Hey guys, does anyone know if there is an "off the shelf" cold air box to suit the R32. If so where should I go.
  11. I am chasing a Z32 AFM to add to my R32 GTS-t. I know there are a few versions of the Z32. Does anyone know the part number or a description of the unit with the greatest airflow capacity unit so I do not get ripped off by the seller?
  12. I have had my RB25DET bored, honed etc and have all the bits to put it back together. What I don't have is the torque specs and procedures. Can any one help?
