Rang up mate number 1 on 23/12 and said "Hooray you won!" I thought he was bullshitting me... But nup, rocked up to the hotel the next day and filled up mates BA ute with 20 cartons... Gave 8 to the winning name and 6 ea to the lowly mates... As you'd guess, I've got a soft spot for Empire now

Branigans are the option you take when you have 50 bux to your name and wire poking out of your tyres... Cheap and nasty... Good service though... Avoid F1 at all costs... There are plenty of motels along the GC Highway that do standby rates... Not really walking distance to Surfers, but a cheap cab ride or bus will get you there... NFI how booked out they are though... I have a house to live in www.yellowpages.com.au and make some phone calls...
