  1. That's f**ked up... But do I expect anything less in today's times? NO... At the end of the day, if your car is illegal, there is nothing you can do... But enforcing draconian laws like 100mm clearance does NOTHING to raise my respect for Police... 100mm or 95mm... Either way, the drunken bum who walks in front of you is gunna get creamed... And whats with parking lights anyway? How the hell are they "required" for safe and environmentally friendly motoring? 1 point & $75 for that is ridiculous... Who's to say the light didn't blow 5 minutes ago when it was hit by a rock flung up from a 1 meter pothole that QLD Transport hadn't fixed? And exhaust noise? Tell em to hunt down the Harleys first... Clap, clap, clap for QLD's finest...
  2. Can't help you with the bar... But can you fill us in on where and when this happened? Just so I know where not to go
  3. 1000 whp @ 16... weak... I had 3405 whp when i was 15...
  4. Don't they have VCR's in ACT???
  5. Ass Hole!!!
  6. Farkin... xxx.xx @ 102 mph... stupid traction...
  7. Moving to forced induction... You'll get more replys there... Do you have a atmospheric BOV? That can cause stalling probs...
  8. w00t and mines made in 2002!!! You always know how to put a good spin on things Funky...
  9. OK... I've driven an auto 33 with a "plugin" ( ) Wolf and the auto doesn't know when to change gears, and when it does change, it bangs into gear... I didn't get a chance to test it completly, but it's doesn't "feel" right at all in my opinion... My car exhibits none of those symptoms... I suspect your theory is correct though... When wiring in the SITC, you cut the wires from the CAS, route the signal to the SITC device, and then back to the ECU... So as you say, your only adding or subtracting small amounts to / from the original readings... Not controlling the timing completly as you would with a full ECU... I agree about the interpolation algorithms too... It's not too hard to confuse the poor thing... In the end, the SITC is just a basic sensor bender... Thanks for the advice SK...
  10. Unfortunately, original seatbelts are removed and new ones put in for Aussie compliance...
  11. Well done JL... I hope you got what you wanted for it... I hope not to see piccys of it wrapped around something... I hope you pointed the new owner in the direction of SAU
  12. Hmmm... Who the bloody hell sold em to ya for $400!!! What a rip job... I offer $150 to get my original rims back...
  13. That sounds more like a strut brace than a sway bar... Strut brace = in the boot or the engine bay... Sway bar = under the car... FWIW, my R33 GTS25t Sedan had front & rear sway bars from the factory... No strut braces though... I've since upgraded to Whiteline adjustable swaybars front & rear... I also have a front strut brace now... I've got my old rear sway bar sitting here if you think it might be of any use to you Rachel?
  14. Mines installed (has been for over a year now) and there is no change whatsoever in how or when the auto shifts... What would you expect if it was screwing with the logic? Harsh changes? Holding gears too long? Or something different?
  15. My SITC cost me $170 of these forums... In the original box, and still with the plastic covering on the face... But I think I got a bargain Average price would be ~$250 - $300 I reckon...
  16. World Peace... and a Koenigsegg CCR...
  17. Ahh sh1t! Sorry Rodney... My bad completely So your organising then?
  18. The SAFC2 definately does... Thats what the HW4 in HW4 out under ETC - Sensor Type is all about... HW stands for Hot Wire... The number stands for the type of Hot Wire AFM it is... There are 56 to choose from
  19. Why does it read at 100% then?? Serious question, not having a go... Thats the fuel cut right? Not the overboost protection? Which it does based on the values coming from the AFM (and knock sensors) correct?
  20. Yeah that's a fair point... Those crazy japs do think of lots of wierd ass things... I think the idea is sound in theory, but in practice probably wouldn't work real well... But I don't agree with your point about cars being made a certain way for a reason... Manufacturers have to juggle all sorts of things like noise, reliability, fuel economy, etc when they design a car... We are talking about performance only here... Anyway if you agreed with your own opinion your car would be stock!
  21. Cmon guys... Make this club something to be proud of! Help move it forward out of the current state it's in... Put your name forward!!!
