  1. 1) Save up like you said, I was in the exact same situation. I did not want to buy a $2k econo box as my first car. If u can borrow cars when you need etc and save money for now you will be rewarded with a first car that is enjoyable to drive etc. I had an r32 gts-t as first car and it was great. Only had normal wear and tear things to fix during the years i had it, (clutch and general servicing). 2) It is harder to find clean ones these days but they are out there but you will need to be patient. Id it were me i would steer cler of the 89/90 models and get one imported under full compliance that had to be in good condition (no rust, serious accident damage) before it left japan unlike those brought in under 15yr rule. 3) Kinda covered that in point 1 above. A clean one that has been looked after and only lightly modded should be a fun and reliable car.
  2. Hey, Yeah I thought it was do luck but was not sure. When I said custom I just meant unique because I have not seen anyone with one on their 32. I have no need for any spoilers so I just want cash. Maybe you could sell your GTR wing and then talk to me when you have money? Cheers
  3. Surely someone is doing a build??
  4. So nice and clean! I really like this GTR!!
  5. They are 2 pretty different cars, but you need to know what you want out of the car both now and down the track first. If you are buying stock and leaving stock then i really think you cannot go past the GTR. Supra's can be modded to make HUGE power but they are also rwd and at the end of the day if you can't put the power down until you are doing like 140km/h then you need to work out if that is for you... From the original post I think the GTR would be the most appropriate choice if you can find a nice one (which is no easy task).
  6. very hard to say without seeing it. But i'd say around $9k??
  7. Supra TT's are pretty nice if they are nice and clean... but most of them have horrible kits, yellow headlights, really bad rims.... I looked on carsales the other day just out of interest and they only ones i likes were VERY expensive... but they were very late model and low k's so I guess thats fair enough. But one of them left stock will be very reliable, the 2JZ is one of the most over engineered engines ever built. However, if you are leaving stock the GTR would be very good also and stock for stock would be more fun to drive i think you will find. I would just keep your options open. Just focus on a clean example weather it be GTR or Supra...
  8. Well i am not sure if r33 is same as r32, but on r32 if you get to 18 and hold the cold button it goes to like f/cold or sumthin like that... also if u go to 32 and hold hot if goes to f/heat.

  19. Are you sure these fit any skyline? The R32 comes with like 4 different type of headlight... i bought a kit that is similar to this one and i could not install it, because any gloabes for my headlights have to be put into a little clip that holds them in place... HID's have a cord comming straight out the back of them so they cant go into this clip so there is no way for them to stay in place.... my headlights are one of the projector style...
  20. I had the exact same thing happen to me on Tuesday night, went to my closest BP and all ultimate pumps were out, went to the other BP bit further down the road and the same thing!! Also a friend in another area went to her BP that same night and it was out. I didn't ask anyone at the station what the story was but I guess you have and now we know.... Thankfully I was not too low as I really do not think my car will run on regular and I dont want to have to fk around with octane booster etc... I will fill mine up with Mobil Synergy 8000 either today or tommorow as it is the next best petrol in my opinion plus I seem to get better fuel economy out of it... Haha, I can't believe BP have run out of Ultimate (even if its only in this state)... thats pretty fkn bad!
