  1. The RB26 does have a pretty tappety sound, you may be making something out of nothing. But as suggested, serviceing a car is the first thing I do when I buy. That way you know it has good fresh oil, new filter etc etc.
  2. What time was that? I was along there about 10, duno if it was me that u saw....
  3. All that is true if you buy a shit one yes. But if you buy a shit example of any car you are always going to have headaches.
  4. Great.. what are you budgeting for that acquisition? $20k....
  5. You bought a GT-R for $11k....I hope you do not expect sympathy. Imagine the host of other problems that are going to pop up when the engine is replaced... assuming it has not been treated well (given the engine is fooked) g/box prolly stuffed, diffs half dead... fun fun. Good luck with all that. Bargain!
  6. get a 32... i wouldn't bother with a pintara
  7. ^^ yet another post worthy of recognition!!
  8. Why did you remove the GT-R badge from the rear? In your first pics it is there and in the ones above it is not.....
  9. I don't know who this belongs to and I think I remember reading that the 26 was taken out of it and sold, I can't remember where I found this image... someone else may be albe to shed more light.
  10. for his purposes the weight per rego will surely be considered reliable as will redbook for the power figure. So if it did go to a court case he has information that is reliable and I am sure it will confirm the car is under the power to weight ratio... If it isn't then you would not be allowed to drive pretty much any car, except maybe some 800cc Diahatsu
  11. Per Redbook: http://www.redbook.com.au/used-cars/detail...id=11D96DE42547 116kw... your rego sticker will specify the weight of the vehicle... you can do the math.
  12. NICE man!!! Looks really mint. Its so similar to mine, i got the same n1 lips etc, colour (white is my fav for a 32)... looks really well kept also! Best of luck with it! And deff put pics up when you got suspension and rims on it!
  13. Here is one oy my old car:
  14. R32 GT-R Gunmetal grey on Flinders lane @ about 5:20pm this evening. Said a quick hello... looked very clean man!
  15. Some good examples in this section I agree, but this ad has to be the winner... hands down!! Peugeot 206:
  16. Haha, thats crazy!
  17. Having suspension parts is all well and good but they are just like good stereo equipment.... if they are not set up right it is going to waist...are the shocks adjustable? and the castor arms... if they aren't right they do more harm than good in my opinon.
  18. I guess.. but that is ridiculous taking it to that length. And FYI - litre does not always equate exactly to 1 kilogram as the density of different liquids effects its weight.
  19. What? Are you kidding?
  20. No, you are wrong. As for the original post, i think you will find this site very helpful: http://www.redbook.com.au
  21. Damn! Ill have to get mine looked at cause it is certainly not capable of that!
  22. Its the November issue so its only just come out as far as i know.
  23. As the topic suggest, the latest Motor magazine has an article on the R32 GT-R.. "Few legends are as indisputable as Nissan's Giant-crushing R32 GT-R"... It is sold in a bag together with some random issue of FHM. Thought some people on here might be interested!
