  1. Wow! That is impressive! How do you go trying to put that to the ground?
  2. That badge has to go... I would spit on that car if I saw it in the street... even worse is posting pictures of it with the badge on sau!
  3. Well I think there are really only two options and everyone has posted attest's to that. R33 and 180sx are out, you don't even like them and they are common... but r33 gts-t would be the quickest, but thats only good if you only care about which is fastest to start with. So that leaves supra and 32. The supra can look very nice with the right kit, rims and paint - but a lot of them have hideous kits, ugly rims and faded poo paint. If you found a clean one for around $15k I would seriously consider it.... only annoying thing is non-turbo... I would worry about getting a bit over it. And then the 32. With that budget and some time you will be able to find a nice clean late model example and it has potential to go faster too without much money... Either supra or 32 would be a good choice in my opinion
  4. Thanks for those reply's guys! I'll be happy once I have it all installed
  5. Nobody knows?
  6. Hey, I have done some mods to my car, others I have bought and not put on, others are still to be orderd. But I was wondering what power figure (at the wheels) I could expect from a Dyno (in shootout mode) with these mods: - Greddy Front Mount - Trust ProfecB II boosted to 13psi - X-Force turbo back exhaust (3") with high flowed cat - Pod filter - Bosch 040 fuel pump - Proper Dyno Tune Ideally I would like someone with identical mods to their 32 gts-t to tell me what power figure they got, but educted assumtions are just as welcome. I was thinking around the 160 - 170rwkw mark??
  7. HAAWWWTTT!!!!
  8. Its not a matter of how much boost the factory BOV can handle its how much the factory turbo can handle. The turbo's are ceramic and realistically, with a front mount the most boost you would want to run constantly is 13psi. But be warned that gauges are often inaccurate whereas a dyno will give you a real boost reading. Running 13psi daily without a front mount can be done but you are quite likely to be reducing the life of your turbo and you should be turbo timing the car. Either way change your oil every 5,000km! edit - Some people may be happy to run higher boost than this as a replacement turbo is not awfully expensive and it does present an opportunity to upgrade it, but to each his own.
  9. I duno about r33's but the r32 has 4 different types of headlights!! I couldn't believe it. Some take H3's one take H3-C's (good like finding them readily available, expecially in the Phillips blue vision and other similar globes)
  10. fair enough. I found it on another site, delivered for $210, so thats even better :PBJ:
  11. Haha, I like that aftermarket fuel pump sound though, ahah. I found one for $230 delivered, is that a good price?
  12. Hey guys, I need to get a new fuel pump for my r32 gts-t. I've heard that Bosch are good, should i be getting the 040? I plan to get a front mount, boost controller and tune the car, so with those mods will the 040 be fine? Thanks
  13. Nice! Very clean, I really like it. Do you have any shots of the 32 that is in your avatar?? Looks really tuff!
  14. What suspension are you getting, out of interest?
  15. No he didn't......
  16. Yuk, its the most common skyline, in the worst colour and its auto with some of the worst rims money can buy... $15k.... f*k that!
  17. Sounds like a bit of a project, best of luck with what is left! As you mention, I would really like to see some pics of some of the various stages of the work. Keep us informed
  18. This aint mine, but i thought you guys would appreciate... one of my fav R32's!
  19. Cars that drive slow in the fast lane when there are no cars in the other lane are the worst!! Plus its illegal... "keep left unless overtaking" People that do it ften enrage drivers behind and are the cause of road rage... on a freeway its even worse... PET HATE!
  20. You could option them from nissan when buying the GTR also, but the vents are called N1 vents. The genuine vents themselves are worth HEAPS. And I promise you Nissan will not be able to help you with them. Mine are fake, 32line's are too, another friend I know had them and they were fake. They are common because a lot of people get the fake ones.
  21. Those holes are N1 vents. To get a genuine GTR N1 front bar costs a packet and they are rarer than you can imagine, and Nissan will not sell you one. The genuine vents are worth like $300+ (just for the vents) but few people have real ones. Mock ones can be found starting about $50 on ebay etc.. A genuine GTR fr bar will not have indents for the slots at all so you would have to cut them out... not sumthing you want to get wrong! There are comapnies that make fakes for like $550 they have indents, so you can pop them out and buy some vents to put in there so thats about $600 before paint and fitment..
  22. nice spreadsheet Rekin, I kept all petrol receipts with the intention of doing the same thing, but never did. I work it out sometimes and write it on receipt. Atm i avg 11/lt per 100km with turbo back 3" and pod. but my car is in need of a tune, its running too fat... but ill wait till i get FMIC, then do boost and tune together
  23. Got camber?
  24. if u wanted to just ask on of the administrators to close it for you. It's all good though, did u end up looking at / buying the car in question?
