  7. i did sign forms last night....however i WAS approached and asked BEFORE i signed the forms.....i think membership status shouldnt play a part in it as to my understanding isnt the idea to produce a nice product?I am prepared to give my place up for someone else if they want it or theres not enough room
  8. i rarely comment in situations like this but i have to say this......its unfair to compare the amount of aust made vehicle accidents to imported ones.....the fact of the matter is that theres no doubt that A)These type of vehicles are easily obtained by younger drivers than they used to be B)The limitations of these vehicles are much much higher than the aust made vehicles,so when they come unstuck its usually in a big way C)Put A and B together and you have got disaster......we all have accidents in all types of cars but being in the repair trade i have to say that a great majority of accidents in hipo japanese cars are "yeah it was my fault"...this is straight from the customers mouth......I cant say its an experiance thing.....its more just the fact of imature people....i get tool's driving past me in commodores all the time...but the sad fact is these days...i get more tool's doing it in hipo turbo vehicles doing twice the speed as the commodore tools because there cars are capable of doing this
  9. theres no way known that you will get an R34 GTR gearbox for 1500 anyway......
  10. you are wrong....the R34 GTR one is 10mm higher....they dont fit..........
  11. yeah i have done that before.....i posted pics of the event!!!Another old favorite of mine is to park directly in front of them and put the bonnet up....once a guy at a servo came out and started laughing...he then gave me a lift home (just down the road)and i left the car there

  14. Damn hot!Not a good day to be breaking in a new engine/gearbox!But i figured if it held out i had to be proud of myself I really had to contain myself from revving it to hard but in the last session it was good to hear a fresh RB26 spinning at a tad under 9000rpm great to hear so many people had fun!
  15. you sure its not DKV14G?I have one of those
  16. heres what you do.......make sure all the connectors are connected.....check your fuse and make sure it all sweet......then do this.......switch the ignition on and instantly push the drivers door interior light switch(the one located in the door jam) at least 7 times(this will reset the airbag lamp)
  17. its impossible to pick your nose....
  18. A friend of mine who was responsible for preparing the vehicle that took steven richards to his formula ford championship in the 90's in his team valvoline car swears everytime someone mentions malpassi.....they had numorous fail from new.......he also had one fail on an F3 car after 2 laps costing them the championship....after changing to bosch they never had a problem.....i have also had them fail myself......i guess either we are bad tradesmen, the quality control in malpassi is terrible or the product just plain old stinks
  19. well he was asking if they were any good...i answered him in a short and sweet way...
  20. malpassi are shit...
  21. its hard to get...its a chamelian(sp?)colour not any paint store can make it.....try protech in airport west

  23. when i had to check my airbag set up out....it just said "failure to communicate"pffft what a waste of time.......so i fixed it manually
  24. i have found problems that the unit cannot fix or detect.....manual extraction is WAYYYYY better..with manual extraction you have to be able to understand the flashing sequence thats all....no big deal
