nothing to do with EPA but i got pulled up the other day for a "random licence and reg check"He was far ahead of me and done a 360 turn to end up behind me so he could pull me up.First thing was to check my licence then he looked at my tyres and said..."there track tyres"I looked at him blank and said "really?"he then told me that they didnt have enough grooves and they dont grip in the wet...i said "Well to be quite honest with you,i have had 5 sets of tyres on this car since i bought it,and these are by far the best i have ever had....wet included"I then asked him if he had used this particular tyre himself and he said no....i then explained how its imposible for him to tell me how good or bad they are...and he agreed....i actually had a friend in the car at the time who had an appointment at a real estate agent about 2 mins away and she began to walk there coz she was late....the officer then came out of his car and said "wheres she going"I told him that he was making her late and that it might be better if she walked there coz i didnt know how long he was gunna take....he felt bad and apologized and started asking about the car saying how he thought it was nice ect.....Although it may sound like i was being hostile,i wasnt.....I think that if you treat them just as a normal person a have answers for them(without making shit up or saying it in a nasty tone) police officers will generally be reasonable to you....i cant say i have ever been treated harshly from a member of the police force....and i have driven these types of vehicles for almost 10 years....
