hey, Just wondering if anyone could recommend an engine rebuild kit for my rb25??
-
sorry to hear bout ya car man but know wat u mean...it seems most of them are unfortunately like that. Just yesterday i had one nearly run up the arse of me, after pulling out of a servo he followed, but tried to be a hero and 'drift' his fully sick VS commo right behind me. then met up with him on the highway and wanted a run in the double lanes..so i had a bit of fun and dropped back a gear bye bye commo then all of a sudden further up the highway after it was over, he decides to pull out and overtake me on double lines with cars coming the opposite direction..close to a head on. wat a loser.

hey guys, jus wondering if anyone could give me some info on putting an rb26det into a r33 gts-t? is there alot of modifying to fit the engine? also i imagine this is an expensive thing to do?

hey ppl, I am looking for a RB25DET series 1 engine, or series 2 without gear box..just the engine. Would anyone know or reccommend me to an import engine place in queensland? I would rather the series 2 engine, but after ringing a couple of places apparently they are hard to get a hold of compared to the series 1. Any help would be great Cheers, Sam.

hey ppl, Would anybody know how adjust the clutch in an r33 skyline (series 1). ??? Or if there isa link to a webpage that would tell me?

well I tried most high octane fuels in my r33, such as Mobil premium, Optimax, Ultimate, And i felt that when i startyed using Vortex98 my car ran alot better, more perfromance, more km's out of a tank, and alot less backfire(hardly any at all). I would strongly reccommend Vortex, but by the looks alot of different people cars run better on a range of fuels. My advise would be to try them all! see how you go.

Hey ppl, I havent got the most knowledge about hooking up my turbosmart dual stage. I followd the instructions but i must of done something wrong cause my turbo wont spool properly and when looking at the boosty gauge it doesnt go past 0psi. I have given the bc a few clicks up and still no boost. Would anyone be able to give me a descriptiopn of where to run my hoses? I have a front mount intercooler, that didnt have a nipple type connection like my stock cooler had, so i got one welded onto the aftermarket cooler pipe, as i was advised, but still not sure on where the hoses go I may sound like i know nothing but any help would be appreciated. Sam.

Bad Miss In High Rpm
sam_33t replied to yellow34gtt's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
hey ppl, I was also having this problem with my r33, anything over 4000rpm and i would get a bad miss almost feels like its tapping on rev limiter. Today i took my coils out and inspected them and found 4 out of 6 couls had little hairline cracks in them. I taped these cracks up with electical tape (couple of layers), put the coils bak in and took it for a spin...there is now no miss at all, so the tape will hold for now untill i get new coils. So id suggest inspect ur coils, and look closely:) -
That sounds like a good price for the pfc. Does it include hand controlla? Also could you give me the contact details for power fc, coz i think i might buy one at that price. Also who would you reccomend as a good tuner in QLD? I have given APC performance a call and they said they will tune it for $500-$700. I think im goin to run out of money but, because i still need to buy the heavy duty clutch. I will have enought for the zorst, pfc, and the clutch, but maybe not enough for the cooler. im not sure wat to do, gettin a bit confused on how i should go about it.

yeh that sounds good to upgrade to a hybrid cooler, power fc, and a 3"exhaust. i would be happy with them mods. would a standard clutch handle the power increase or will it wear quickly? would it be safer to replace with a heavy duty?
