  1. I'd check for a stone or a foreign object stuck in the tread. Or the hand brake may not release sufficiently. I don't know if a 35 has a drum hand brake like the S1.
  2. As I am a Rabbito fan I think the Dayz would look good in red and green. LOL>
  3. It looks interesting. Whether it would help a Stagea or not, I do not know. Years ago when my son had a Sillycar, a mechanic mate took all the suspension rattles, caused by bolt clearance in suspension bushes, out by simply coating the bolt and bush bore with silicon sealant. Worked perfect.
  4. Does anyone know if the S1 Stagea and the R33 share the same part? Maybe someone can point me in the right direction.
  5. In Brisvegas an S1 Tailgate, Red. $275.
  6. Forgot to say it is the one on the steering column.
  7. I think I have snarked the Air Bag Sensor on the Dayz. So I need one ASAP. It is a Series 1.
  8. What I had not noticed before is that the plastic with the three spiggots on it is actually spring loaded. Trouble was that the lubricant used was more like glue and the spring was not strong enough to push the plastic spiggot thingie out far enough so that when fitting the steering wheel back on the spiggots did not engage. Now when the nut was tightened the spring keeps pressure on so that all is AOK. I used a bit of WD40 to help the spring. Now that fixed the horn an indicator cancel Now I have to reset the airbag controller and all will be fixed..
  9. I have this problem too on the Dayz .Trouble is that the wheel I took from the 25G will not seat far enough down for the pins to engage in the holes in the wheel boss. Even driving on and doing up nut leaves the boss a good millimeter shy of engaging. Oddly the wheel off the Dayz fits the 25G properly. I am going to check to see if the shaft can be moved down about 3 or 4 mm so the boss can accept the pins. I suspect the Dayz has had a front ender as it had an R32 radiator when I bought it. Maybe this is how the shaft is that few mms too far up. Will get back soon.
  10. Pulled it apart again and again and again. Not only are the blinkers not cancelling but now the horn does not work and the air bag light flashes all the time. In the other Air bag post it mentions the "spring thing". Well that piece that has the wires for the air bag and horn does not have any "spring" in it anywhere. Where have I ducked up?
  11. Thanks for your info on this Bob. I think that I did not line up the spigot/clock spring. Will pull apart and check and post up what I find.
  12. Fluid level is OK. Just had half a six pack.
  13. Tha blinkers have ceased to self cancel. What is the best (proper) way to take the mechanism out?
  14. And today got it Regoed. Only took 21 months.
  15. Just disconnected the ticker. All OK. But not the way to fix a FWD ticker
  16. Now the DAYZ is ready to rock I am going to try the fuse removal trick. Will post results.
  17. After nearly two years finally got an RWC for the Dayz. Rego next up.
  18. Thanks for that guys. Off to get a 342.
  19. Found on web. Model GSS 341. Is this the right one??
  20. Need a new pump for the 25G. Looking at Supercheap and they have a few that look right but not sure. Anyone know of a Goss(for example) or other brand P/No that would fit in an S1 Or any other place to check on the Gold Coast? Cheers.
  21. Do a compression test before you buy
  22. I just had the same prob with an S1. Finally got a set from ebay. Try DBA site or go to Supercheap with Vin No.
  23. You need to get sleeves to fit the smaller bolts. 12mm instead of 14mm. From memory either Scotty or Daleo can supply the sleeves.
