  2. To ad to those comments, make sure the power wires from the amp are not run with the rca or speaker wires, that would cause the buzzing.

    I should have copyrighted that pic I have a mate picking up a part for me tomorrow, its number 60 or 62 bridge rd and they are listed in the wreckers section and the guy is a user on here.
  4. I had one in my old rx7, did not do any where near as good of a job as the clutch fan did.
  5. Did your mummy tell you that you could use her computer? Dont be so sure, i have the same problem but it is happening all the time, no vac or boost leeks and i have changed the afm but nothing has fixed it so far.

From what i have read when you brige the 2 wires on the consult port for 3 or so seconds the engine light should flash, assuming it does 2 long flash's and 1 short flash that means 21 right, which is an ignition problem, but from what the manual says that actually means 12 which is an afm problem, can any one clear this up, here is the page from the manual.
  8. no, fuses didnt cross my mind, what one would cause these sorts of troubles? Just bought a fuel pressure gauge to see if the reg is screwed, any idea what the fuel rail pressure should be?
  9. What is reborn leather? Any chance of getting a copy of the instructions, so many kits say there easy but for someone who has never done it before it is not so easy.
  10. That was one of the first things i changed, played around with the wires and there was no change, unplugged it, surged for a second or so and died, woud not start again, plugged it back in and it fired up but still ran like shit.
  11. V7 looks better but a little odd since it has more light but shows no detail on the jetty. V8 should be V7 with more detail on the jetty.
  12. Does anyone know how to read fault codes, when i first did it the fault code came up as 2 long flash's and one short one, i assumed this meant 21, after looking at the manual the way they describe it is that it means 12, have attached a page from the manual.

  14. BTW i have come to the conclusion that the cluster change was a coincidence but i cant change the topic.
  15. I have since gotten the car to start, i have replaced the afm, coil paks and ecu with no change, still trying to get a hold of an igniter. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  17. I think you will find that a long motor comes with everything, a short motor comes without bolt ons.
  18. Trial and error, fit the cooler and see how much you have to cut, maybe change the cooler position if necessary, repeat until it is right.

  24. Nice, and then they put them on the same car as yours, get a couple of speeding fines and citylink fines and you have to go through all the shit of proving it was not you, id rather just get different plates.
