Im just sick of people claiming that the whole reason you should not drive is because of insurance and then having to sue the unlicensed driver blah blah blah. The only thing you should be sueing the other driver for is your excess as your insurance and tac should cover everything else if they do what they are paid to.

So your view is not just about people with no license its about anyone that does not have insurance?

If you drive a car and have an accident YOU are covered by tac (in vic anyway) for personal injury, if the other person in the accident is not licensed then you are still covered but they are not, and of course since getting insurance, even 3rd party, is not compulsory how many people do you think are out there with a license that do not have any insurance, if the only thing you can think to get on your soap box about is the fact they dont have insurance then your voice is mute, because obviously you have full comp and have a perfect driving record which means your policy has something like a no claim bonus, but from the way your talking you have no insurance and are relying on the other person to have it.

My 9850BT did not have an antenna wire, i had to hook it up to the amp remote which means its up when ever the head unit is on, my antenna broke recently so i put it down and cut the wire, i actually get better radio reception with the antenna down than with it up. Also dont get too excited about the BT, the most mine would hold a connection for is 5mins, asked a mate that works at pioneer and they are blaming nokia for the problem, i have an old blue ant hands free and that does not have a problem but a $1000 head unit does..........

Here is what will happen: Best case scenario: You get a skyline you do all the first stage mods, most of which will get you more attention from the cops, especially the P plates, you get done for unroadworthy and driving a high powered vechile, you then have to sell it at a loss and buy a cheap shitter. Worst case scenario: your showing of in front of you mates (dont even try to tell me it wont happen bbbbaaaaahhhh, i told you not to say it) and lose control, at best you hit something soft and just damage the car, at worst you kill someone, either way the cops turn up and you are either fined and lose your license or your sharing a cell with bubba (to prepare you for that go watch "bad boy bubby"). The way it should be done: You buy a $2000 cheap to run shitter, you put all the money you would have spent in an account with a good interest rate, in 6 years time when your 21 you will have the 40k you plan to spend buying an r33gtst and modding it plus the compounded interest, should add up to about 50k maybe more, you then buy your self a R35 gtr which by that time the private imports will probably be 70-80k, badda bing badda boom you have a car worth spending money on.

saw a thing on 5th gear a while back, over there with all there extra tolls and congestion charges number plate theft is huge, they had cops walking around handing out screws that once they are done up tight enough the heads snap off and you cant get the off without f**king the number plate.

When i did mine many years ago i think the driving test was about 30mins, was in dromana though so very little traffic in the way. Atleast most of you guys only do one driving test, ive done 3 so far and will be doing a 4th soon.

I bought one of these about 6 months ago its only 40gig came with 1 game i bought another and a controller and it cost me over $900, $650 is a steal for 80gig and 4 games.

From what ive been told you cant get them replaced because then there are 2 sets getting around, also to get number plates replaced you have to report them stolen, if you get the same plates again your driving around with stolen number plates, also you can get out of speed camera and city link fines by saying you were not there and it must have been the ones that were stolen. If im wrong i might have to report my plates stolen and then get a new set

I dont know if nsw is the same as vic but once the plates are stolen you can not get another set the same because someone has the other ones.

Is that pic of your car? If it is you need to make sure you get an indicator WITHOUT the spotlight in it, the ones with a spot light have a bigger clear section, will look odd if you have one of each in.
