    Now ring vic roads twice more and ask the exact same question and you will get 2 different answers, if there willing to say that a bigger front mount is not classed as a modification get them to send you out a letter saying so because no cop is going to believe you, and even with the letter most cops will probably dick you anyway.

I have only had my skyline for about 18 months and in that time i have only had three people want to have a go from the lights, a ba xr6t, an s15 and a cobra replica, lost to the cobra, kept up with the xr6t and beat the s15. from what every one has said so far that puts me in the hoon class because you all sound like perfect angels.

  4. That is about the same as my turbo, i have standard ecu, afm, fuel pump and injectors and got pretty much the same power at 14psi which i run every day. Once i have injectors, fuel pump, z32 and power fc installed i will up the boost a little.
  5. At the end of the day unless you put it on an engine dyno its only estimated, its what is read at the wheels that counts. An easier conversion from horse power to kilowatts is that 100hp = 75kw, its not exact i know but its easier to do a quick conversion with those figures.

  7. Any one tried cleaning the contacts? I use to have a S2 RX7 and it was a common problem, you just pull the switch apart and clean all the carbon build up off the contacts, mine is getting shit so i might try it this weekend.
  8. Only problem now is the 300 pixel rule, the time slip was not too bad but the dyno sheet is pretty small, have attached mine reduced to 295 pixels.

Yeah is an r33 rb25det, i have a set of injectors, z32 afm and power fc for it, gotta get the injectors cleaned and checked before i put them in, was told there 650cc but cant find any info on them, still have to get a new fuel pump then i will get it all tuned, the turbo i have is only good for about 250rwkw so theres not much left in this set up.

  15. LOL thats a lot of maths to agree with the theory that if you want 400rwhp that you should go 400cc injectors plus a bit more for head room.
  16. I assume from your for sale ad that yours is still going strong Trust33? i am tossing up whether to go all out and get a kaaz/nismo 1.5 or 2way, put a spool in it or shim it, judging by this thread shimming seems like a cheap effective option.

Thought i would post in this topic instead of starting a new one, got a dyno run done today, just wondering if my afr's are too rich as they drop off to 11 as i hit 14psi then climb back up to 12 as the boost drops to 13psi. Since i am making 223rwkw im guessing im maxing out the standard afm, also still running the standard injectors, ecu and fuel pump, obviously not running out of fuel tho.

After the research i have done a good guide is that whatever horsepower your looking for thats the cc of the injectors you want plus a little more for headroom, the horsepower your after is 350, standards are 370cc so it does not leave you with much head room, next size up would be the S15 440cc, another thing you also need to take into account is once you have 260rwkw will you want more? Not so long ago i would have been more than happy with the 220rwkw i have now, but things have changed, if you can see this being the case it might be worthwhile going 550cc so you dont have to do another change when your pushing for 300-350rwkw.
  20. I believe s15's are 440 and a straight fit, they pop up in a set of 6 from time to time.
  21. Those rims look the same as mine but a different brand name, mine are hp racing, mine are 18x8.5.

  23. im no race car expert but im guessing with the extra weight over the nose it would also make it understeer which is definitely not some thing you want in a drift car.
  24. cams for 280? there are many people getting 300 with stock cams, maybe add adjustable cam gears though. Clutch will be needed, tyres are optional after all she did say she was going to drift it and of course suspension will be part of the drift set up, not a part required to get 280rwkw which is purely the question i answered thats why i left out clutch (and i didnt think of it at the time).
  25. Im going for similar power except im going for 300-350rwkw, only real difference for you is smaller turbo and injectors. You could also go a walbro 255 fuel pump, its cheaper but i have heard mixed stories about them so im sticking with the ol faithfull 040.
